Scottish⑦Canuck
I was just reading up on Hillsborough and I was wondering, is it common knowledge in football circles that the youngest of the victims was Steven Gerrard's cousin? I've read about that before. Not sure if it's common knowledge, but Liverpool fans will no doubt know about it already.

RUPERTKBD
I've read about that before. Not sure if it's common knowledge, but Liverpool fans will no doubt know about it already. According to what I read, Gerrard used the incident as inspiration to become a professional footballer.....for Liverpool. His cousin was 10 when he died. SG couldn't have been much older... topbananas
Dortmund were robbed. they played citeh off the park, especially in the second half, how good was Joe Hart again though? Had citehs penalty been given to united, there would have been an outcry of the usual guff, shocking decision plenty empty seats again at the emptihad........dortmund support were superb

I dont think there will be any team looking forward to going there to play, from what I have seen so far, Dortmund could well win that group. RUPERTKBD
he's a warrior! He said he's maybe playing on sunday So, it must have been a straight dislocation, rather than a break? Even so, he's pretty tough to come back so soon after that...

Yes, the bone wasn't broken. He says he can play but I think he won't. RM has a good chance there
Scottish⑦Canuck
I heard he was out of both of the upcoming Champions League games against Celtic, so I'm not sure that he'll be playing for quite a while. Horrible injury. EDIT: Yeah, 8 weeks. Edited October 5, 2012 by Scottish⑦Canuck

Anyway, great game on sunday

You thought I thought we had signed Buttner 2 years ago? What a muppet!!! Do you not understand punctuation? I have highlighted said punctuation for you above, ask someone if you are stuck, there really is no shame in asking for help. You are always a little bit quick to try and start a row with me........small club fan mentality shines brightly in this one. boing boing
GLASSJAW
i don't want to get involved in the hostility, but isn't that a comma splice? second comma should be a period obviously mahmood was being sarcatsic, but the sentence does read like it's one thought.
