Following the Sancho transfer saga on Twitter one has to assume that Man Utd fans are the most obnoxious and arrogant bunch in the business.

...United holds all the cards...

...Dortmund is broke, they have to sell...

...next year, Dortmund gets nothing...

Allegedly Woodward has threatened to walk away from the transfer if we insist on the 120m € we wanted from the beginning. What a threat. Oh no, we'll keep our best player for another year or two...

Every fanbase has deluded people but their fanbase is on a whole other level.

Weirdest lot on Twitter.

So Zorc extended Sancho's contract until 2023 LAST summer and today he announced that and that Sancho is staying this season.

Build this man a statue. :frantic:

Also, I'm feelin a little Schadenfreude regarding Man Utd. :P

You would think that after the Dembele saga that United would have recognized that Dortmund doesn't budge anymore.

I still have a sneaky feeling United will come back in for Sancho with the quoted price before the window ends but good on Dortmund for standing firm and telling them get lost (for now).  Ideally, he stays in Germany for as long as possible...unless he fancies a switch to North London to play with his buddy Reiss Nelson ;)

Just wouldn't make sense for us now. We would get the same, probably more next year and would have to look for a replacement. Zorc has made it very clear again today that Jadon will stay for this season. Reports are Jadon and his agent have accepted the decision.

Doesn't sound like he wants to leave anyway

I think for his development he is in the best place. Play in the German league and be a no1 player, and have a few other young English players come through.

or move to PL and not always be a starter, intense media scrutiny

What's that United front line looking like?  Martial, Rashford, Bruno... I think Jadon will play ahead of guys like Mata, Lingard and Greenwood.

Any chance the Whitecaps ever become more popular than the Canucks? Soccer seems to be pretty big in Vancouver now.

Probably never.  A small "maybe" if they ever recruited a top 10 talent (u-25) in the world to come play.  Think Kylian Mbappe or along those lines.

Only French and German teams left. Already feeling the Brexit? :P

All jokes aside. I hope Lyon wins it. No sympathies for any other team. Realistically though, Bayern will make it. Even more furious now we were so terrible in the second leg against PSG. They have no business even being in the Semis this year.
