You know you're a Canucks fan if...

Recommended Posts

You can join 100,000 fans downtown to watch a hockey game. Forget the Game 7 riots...Seriously, Vancouver is so cool.

You know you're a Canucks fans if.....you lived in NY in both 1982 and 1994 and told Isles and Rangers fans to kiss it.

.....you miss Trevor Linden

.....you can pronounce Orland's last name.

......every player uses a hockey stick but only your team is known by that logo.

.....you think Don Cherry's attitude regarding Pavel Bure is uglier than his suits.

......seeing another player wear #10 feels wrong.

......you once screamed Mason Raymond "Stop playing with the puck Lumme"

......you were just as upset for your fellow fans who had to deal with the riots as you were about seeing the Canucks lose.

....you hope every player in a Boston uniform gets run over by a spoked wheel.

You know you're a Canucks fan when....you tell your frisky girlfriend to get lost during a preseason game. I still haven't been able to live that one down.

1. You can distinguish which Sedin is which when out of uniform.2. You still sort of like Burke for the 1999 entry draft.3. You believe Gillis is a god.

You know you're a "true Canuck fan" when you insist that Bertuzzi was only defending his captain and that the attack on Moore was just a "freak accident".

You know you are a true Canuck fan whe you can find a scapegoat for every single bad goal that Luongo has ever given up. Give the puck away in game 4 and get blamed for game 5 and 6 as well.

You know you're a real fan when you remember that you considered Dan Cloutier an all star based on his three 30 win seasons.

You know you are a big Canuck fan when you immediately dis any player that has the audacity to go and play for another team no matter what the circumstances.

You know you are a real honest to goodness fan-atic if you consider the 10 year captaincy of Markus Naslund a golden era for the Canucks.

You are definitely not a Canuck fan if you don't whine about the officiating and the league in general all the time. It's a conspiracy!

Finally you know you are an incurable Canuck fan if you honesty believe that the Boychuk hit on Raymond was a heinously dirty attempt to injure while simultaneously saying that the Rome hit on Horton was "just a hockey play" even though almost everybody else in the world (other than the rest of the incurable Canuck fans) disagree.

You know you're a Canuck fan when you favorite colour commentator can say priceless lines such as “I just came from the Canucks dressing room and Pavel's groin has never felt better.”
