avelanch
Schroeder, Schneider, Sauve, Connauton, 3 1st round picks, a 2nd round pick, Keith Ballard, Aaron Rome, a 7th round pick, Luongo to whoever drafts Yakupov, for Yakupov. What do you guys think?

Ilya Mikheyev
that's the most idiotic thing i've heard yet... congrats. 4 d-men (one top 6, one 7th, and 2 potential studs) a forward both of our goalies 3 first round picks a second round pick a seventh round pick for a single unproven prospect with loads of talent. maybe if we were in the east where you can just run and gun your way to victory

Stick-in-Rink
Maybe he's a total headcase and will request a trade to his favourite team! Kesler - Yakupov is just too deadly to even imagine.
Jumpin Jack Flash
Maybe if he truly loves the Canucks he'll head over hear once he's an eligible UFA and we could have him for his prime. Guy has 25 points in 10 games, absolutely unreal. If he could get a little more size he would be unstoppable.
Cody_Hodgson9
This kid is insane! I hope he loves Vancouver enough to sign here when he becomes a ufa.

Ilya Mikheyev
29 points in 13 games. He should stop trying so hard or he's gonna end up on a team like the Senators or the Panthers!
Edler23-
Colorado is starting off the year strong.... WSH chances of getting him are becoming less and less
BureisBest
If I had to compare...Mogilny's skill set + Forsberg's unexpected strength + Bure's aggressiveness = Nail Yakupov. Future 50 goal scorer in the NHL.

Greene02
I don't want to take too much away from him but he missed the cut off for the 2011 draft by about 3 weeks. RNH is in his 18 year old season and is an NHL rookie. Yakupov is in his 18 year old season and is in his draft year. He's pretty much the same age as RNH. I'm pretty sure there is about 3 1/2 months difference between them. What kind of numbers would Nugent-Hopkins be putting up in the CHL right now? I'm not saying he doesn't have star potential. I just think the stats may be a little misleading. This isn't the typical draft year we're seeing. If he was 3 weeks younger he would have went head to head with RNH last season and would likely be in the NHL right now.

n00bxQb
I saw "Nail Yakupov -- The Next El" in the thread description and assumed the remainder of the title was "Kabong." Thoroughly disappointed ...
