Guest The Brown Burrows
Hopefully he can keep up his play for the entire season. *It'll make the Burke look good , even though he never got to draft Seguin and Hamilton.

Neversummer
Wouldn't it be neat to see if Kessel gets chosen before Ovie at the All Star Game this year and then have the tables turned, Kessel filming and laughing at Ovie
Wesker
Wouldn't it be neat to see if Kessel gets chosen before Ovie at the All Star Game this year and then have the tables turned, Kessel filming and laughing at Ovie HA HA that would be a pretty sweet, but Ovie needs to start putting up some points if he even wants to make the ASG this year. Bure1994Mclean
I keep thinking it's only a matter of time before Kessel and the Leafs cool down and start to play sub-par hockey like they do every year, but damn what Kessel is doing thus far is remarkable, lets see how long he can keep this up for. Slick McGiggits
I doubt this means anything but Kessel's been on fire ever since I've had him on my ultimate team. Which was just before the start of the season.
EvoLu7ioN
Kessel has had a great start to the season, I expect 35 goals and 70-75 points this year from the guy. The Boston trade is still one sided though. Dougie Hamilton and Tyler Sequin will both be more valuable in their prime than Phil Kessel in his prime, so one of them might have been a fair deal. Both though...
Snake Doctor
It's good to the fire in his eyes. Just stay healthy.
*vInTaGe*
HA HA that would be a pretty sweet, but Ovie needs to start putting up some points if he even wants to make the ASG this year. No he doesn't, haha. And on topic, Phil has really been playing well, and no, I don't expect it to last.
Darius
I think that the laffs have greatly benefited from getting to start their season at home for 5 games straight against (what look like) non playoff teams. What gets me is that they (like most teams in the east) dont even leave their timezone for about the first 6 weeks. They also get the luxury of playing at home almost every saturday. Talk about a candy a$$ schedule. I'd like to see Phil the Thrill go into Detroit, Philly, Washington and Pittsburgh before we make any judgement on him. A defenseless Montreal and an atrocious Senators team would be an easy punching bag for anyone during a home stand. I hope the this facade ends soon or else we wont hear the end of it from the likes of TSN and CBC...i can picture their head line stories every night "and tonight Phil Kessel had chicken and potatoes for dinner"..... Neversummer
Tonight should be somewhat of a test, regardless of their bad start, Boston is still Boston. Kessel vs. Seguin, head to head
SterlingArcher
Props to Kessel and his team for having a great start. He should enjoy being on top while he can, cause it will not last long. He still would of been better off in Boston.
Shift-4
Anyone have a good look at the leaves opposition so far this year?
Ilya Mikheyev
Kessel had 11 points in his first 8 games last year. Look where he and the Leafs finished. Maybe they will finish 9th with this hot start and get an even worse draft pick!!! Yay. I still don't think Burke's Leafs will be able to make the playoffs until Ronny Wilson is fired. TOMapleLaughs
3pts for Seguin tonight as B's crush Kessel's TO squad 6-2. Kessel zero points. But his defensive play was alright. Only a -1.
JoeyBats
Since the all star game, Phil Kessl has 20 goals in 38 games.
BM24
"Thank you Kessel! Thank you Kessel! Thank you Kessel!" Seguin is doing just fine as well, and he'll be the 1C in Boston soon enough. Before you know it, Seguin will be better, and you never know, it could be this year, Seguin is going to have a breakout year.
By-Tor
HA HA that would be a pretty sweet, but Ovie needs to start putting up some points if he even wants to make the ASG this year. Two goals tonight. Ovie must have read your post.
We Broke The Cup
Toronto needs all the goals they can get from Phil and Lupul, not a lot of points coming from anyone else on the leafs so far.
woot
Apparently the Leafs are listening.
