TOMapleLaughs
Booth is targeting Jan. 9th for his return to action. That would put him on the low end of the 4-6 week period he was supposed to miss. Sedin-Sedin-Burrows Raymond-Kesler-Higgins Booth-Hodgson-Hansen Weise-Malhotra-Lapierre Woof. winthecup
He's also trying to rush back for the game against Florida, so I dunno how reliable that established timeline is, considering as you stated that would put him on the shorter side of 4-6 weeks. I'd rather him wait it out then re-aggravate the injury and be out another month
RKESLER17
I notice Weise only played just over 2 mins last game was he hurt or just benched?

elvis15
Finally some news on Bitz, but nothing that'll help the Canucks: Byron Bitz has been skating with the Wolves for 3 weeks, he just cleared himself to play, so he's been put on waivers to join Wolves. Rypien37
Finally some news on Bitz, but nothing that'll help the Canucks: And from the Province: I'm surprised they didn't at least try a conditioning stint to begin with, although if he performs reasonably well but not well enough to be worthy of a roster spot it'd be harder to get him past waivers. Not sure of the reasoning, just guessing.
elvis15
Because a conditioning stint can only be a few games before a player must return to the team. Bitz has been out for over a year and will need more then a few games to get back into NHL form.
Rypien37
Well, a conditioning stint does have the option of an extension but that still has it's limits (14 days max). They must feel he's not a lock over our other depth players and/or can really use more than two weeks worth of games to get back in game shape.
