Vezina Trophy

Tomas put up spectacular numbers in his second season with the Capitals. While posting a 46-23-7 record with a 2.00 GAA and a .928 SV% along with 4 shutouts, the league felt that he was the goaltender best at his position for the season.

Calder Memorial Trophy

Granlund put up spectacular numbers in his first season in the NHL, racking up 35 goals and 34 assists, totalling 69 points. Granlund also posed a +/- rating of +10 and scored 3 shorthanded goals to make him the top rookie of the NHL.

Brian Campbell

Brian was outstanding in his second season in Florida. Campbell tallied 17 goals as well as 62 assists, totalling 79 points on the season. Brian solidified his title as an offensive defenceman, scoring 12 of his goals with the man advantage. Brian's stellar year led him to his first ever Norris Trophy for the years top defenceman.

Conn Smythe Trophy

Antti Niemi

Niemi was unstoppable in the postseason. Antti posted a 16-3-3 record in the playoffs, along with a 1.61 GAA and a .946 SV%, and 2 shutouts. It is no doubt that Niemi was the Most Valuable Player of this years playoffs, for he was a "brick wall" for the Oilers as he was one of the many reasons that the Stanley Cup wound up in Edmonton.

Mike Green was voted the player who best exemplifies leadership qualities on and off the ice and who has made a significant humanitarian contribution to his community. Mike has shown strong leadership with the Toronto Maple Leafs, and has made a positive impact on the city of Toronto.

Jonathan Toews

Jonathan was voted the forward who best demonstrated the defensive aspect of the game in the NHL as determined by the Professional Hockey Writers' Association. Toews' abilities on the ice was a key component during the regular season and in getting the Chicago Blackhawks into the postseason.

Dan Hamhuis

Dan has been a staple on the Vancouver blue line. Hamhuis' offensive and defensive capabilities allowed him to notch a plus/minus rating of +29 while playing in 72 games this season, playing over 22 minutes a game on average.
