Conn Smythe Trophy

Winner

584-niemi-antti.jpg

Antti Niemi

Niemi was unstoppable in the postseason. Antti posted a 16-3-3 record in the playoffs, along with a 1.61 GAA and a .946 SV%, and 2 shutouts. It is no doubt that Niemi was the Most Valuable Player of this years playoffs, for he was a "brick wall" for the Oilers as he was one of the many reasons that the Stanley Cup wound up in Edmonton.

After battling foot issues, and the inability to play at the NHL, Forsberg tried his hand at the big show one last time.
