Guest AriGold
The Defensive Depth of the San Jose organization made it a little easier to trade Brent Burns. We are excited to invite Ian White, David Perron and Gleason Fournier to the team. Ian will step into the 1st defensive role and David Perron on the 3rd line. Marleau - Thornton - Clowe Kostitsyn - Couture - Kulemin MarArthur - Bozak - Perron Niedermayer - Handzus - Frolik Mitchell Boyle - White Kulikov - Mcbain Diaz - Bergeron Campoli Niemi Niittymaki

Guest AriGold
No real shutdown d-man on the roster, good luck with that
Caboose
I have no idea what canucklax is bitching about, do you think that every trade discussed in the NHL goes through, even in the later stages of the deal?

Try Again
Are you saying that one's position in the standings doesn't reflect the amount of trades made?

Kazmanian Devil
Lol, you pretty much made that trade for the sake of making a trade. With already a solid top six, you traded for another young top six and placed him on the 3rd line, how do you think his development will go? And pretty much you replaced a legit top d-man for a major downgrade. I thought this league was full of quality GMs?

Chimon
Marcel Hossa hasn't played in the NHL since 2007, is older, has 111 less career points, yet somehow will be earning nearly double the amount that Marek Svatos will.
