The Defensive Depth of the San Jose organization made it a little easier to trade Brent Burns. We are excited to invite Ian White, David Perron and Gleason Fournier to the team.

Ian will step into the 1st defensive role and David Perron on the 3rd line.

With already a solid top six, you traded for another young top six and placed him on the 3rd line, how do you think his development will go?

And pretty much you replaced a legit top d-man for a major downgrade.

I thought this league was full of quality GMs?
