I couldn't help but notcie an error on the STHS site reguarding contracts, salaries, and cap hits.

If I look at Tavares' cap hit on the site it has it has 5.25M He is currently playing out a deal that his cap hit is 3.75M. The site makes this mistake because of Tavares' 5.5M extension that kicks in next season. The site will then keep the cap hit at the wrong 5.25, instead of the correct 5.5M, and the 3.75M this season.

This happens for all players with extensions onto next season (Mason raymond another example off the top of me head).

Just pointing that out there to Krazz so he can make the changes on the site to fix the error.

thanks.

I've seen that too but when you go into finances I'm pretty sure its correct with the cap hit regarding the deal

Hmm, I just added the salaries for this season and they all added up to the numbers on the bottom, so that is good that it didn't effect my cap at all, just as long as the cap hit is entered into the finances and not the actuall salary itself.

RE: Salaries/Cap Hit

Use the Finances tab and calculate the Salaries for that particular year as your cap-hit. There's no fix for this, as it's been hard-coded into the system.

^This

Finances does have the correct cap hit. I've done several calculations. The cap number seen in the player's profile is simply the average over the course of the contract. However, it does not affect the overall cap hit for that particular season.

Now I've changed the Winnipeg and Tampa Icons because they didn't exactly fit the navigation bar.

In addition to all this, the navigation bar with the Home, Pro League, Farm League, etc, has all been made transparent when the menu is dropped down. If you don't like this, I can change the CSS code back to it's original bold state. Let me know!

I hope you all like these new changes. I'll try to tweak some other things when I have the time.

If you don't see these images on your browser yet, wait a bit. It takes a while for the files to upload universally. You may see some previous images/changes in coding I've been testing with

This Calgary business is a joke, I have to change my lineup if I have a chance to even come remotely close to finishing after him in the standings.

U know I read somewhere in the SimonT program that players tend to grow more based on the minutes they receive from the auto re-rate.

Goaltenders who play 60 games will grow more than those who play 40 and etc.

Hopefully you're giving Subban some minutes, as well as your UFA players. Otherwise, I don't see why they would resign.

I would laugh so hard if k25 just raped Sweefish in his negotiations.

Considering he's intentionally failing I don't see why they would re-sign at all, most would want to get out asap

Edit: Moss, Kostopolus, and Prucha are on his AHL team so I missed them...

They may not be the greatest, but at least they add to the free agent list I guess.

Usually every free agency, there's an elite player everyone goes after, or tries to offer the biggest contract. Anyone wanna make a guess as to who will be let go to free agency come off season?

My guess is going towards Alex Semin. With 1 year left on his contract and a rebuilding Florida team, I don't see why Alex Semin would stay in Florida come off season.

Hopefully the agents don't sign every player so that there's some players left come free agency!
