They have not revealed his destination, but we have confirmed that he will not be joining his NHL affiliate in Dallas. Nemeth has been traded. Rumours say that he is heading to one of 3 possible destinations. It is either Buffalo, Columbus, Minnesota, or Detroit. Official league announcement will come very shortly. Sad to see Brassard go, but he was underperforming and with the addition of Bourque and a solidified 3rd line, he fell out of the lineup. Hope he can succeed with a fresh start in Dallas. He was a bright young prospect, but he has been pushed farther down the depth chart with the addition of Hunwick, and the two extensions of Fistric and Grossman. We feel that he will have a great chance to crack the Columbus roster in the next few years. Derick Brassard has been a player we have been chasing for a while now, and the Dallas organisation is very pleased to finally acquire him. He will slot onto the 3rd line, and provide the scoring depth we've been searching for. Ott will slide onto the 4th line and form a checking line with Burish and Godard.
