Conn Smythe Trophy

Posted Image

Winner

Posted Image

Antti Niemi

Niemi was unstoppable in the postseason. Antti posted a 16-3-3 record in the playoffs, along with a 1.61 GAA and a .946 SV%, and 2 shutouts. It is no doubt that Niemi was the Most Valuable Player of this years playoffs, for he was a "brick wall" for the Oilers as he was one of the many reasons that the Stanley Cup wound up in Edmonton.

New to the league. Didn't know that rule. Can the manuals re rates be any AHL player? Regardless of draft class?

Peter Forsberg

1 year after retirement, Peter Forsberg returned for one last season in the NHL. After battling foot issues, and the inability to play at the NHL, Forsberg tried his hand at the big show one last time. Peter battled through injury throughout the season, only managing to play 25 games. It was his hard work and determination on and off the ice that best exemplifies the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship, and dedication to hockey.

I was surprised to see Caboose leave and I guarantee I won't screw things up this time. I think I paid my dues in St. Louis, we were going in the right direction, etc. Thanks Romo for the second chance esp. after I nearly stole Jordan (Staal) from you :P
* I won't personalize (or what you guys said, blow-up) my team (just go with what I have) but it does help that I got the hire in the off-season LOL.

I'm going to keep my pick (1st rounder).
