Where will they play? What will be their name? Will anyone even care? Lingerie Football League coming to Vancouver If the idea of gorgeous, athletic women playing football while scantily-clad in lingerie offends you, read no further. The Lingerie Football League, already a huge success in the United States, announced Wednesday that they will be spreading themselves further. LFL franchises will be popping up in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary Quebec City and Montreal. These five Canadian cities now join Toronto, the only city north of the border that currently competes against Lingerie Football teams in the U.S. The full-blown Great White North season of LFL slated for Canada will come the fall of 2012. Mitchell S. Mortaza, founder and chairman of the LFL is keen on a liberal, and open-minded Canada. "As much success as the league has seen through its first two seasons in the U.S., we expect greater success in Canada due to its fanaticism around sports," said Mortaza. This girl for the Vancouver team knocked down the commissioner of the league during the tryouts and apparently he got a concussion from the hit? Not sure if it was a joke though.
