Kungfudru
A) The Ducks get a #1 goalie? So what is Hiller? He's a pretty darn good goalie... Doubt Lou would waive his NTC for that.

Schnieder is playing great and I'm a huge fan of his but a 4 game hot streak is not proof of a proven #1

C) Let say MG feels Schnieder is a good enough #1, who would be #2? Eddie Lack? Not sure he or Climie have had enough NHL experience to be a solid contributor. Are we going to dump on Schnieder like Calgary does on Kipper? Again, he hasn't got enough starts under his belt to indicate he's ready for that.
Kungfudru
They got scoring right now, future is a little up in the air once Teemu and Koivu both leave though. I was talking with a guy at work the other day how the Ducks need a franchise tough D-man (no offence to Fowler, guy will be a studly offensively but doubt he will be a guy you depend on to shutdown other teams in dieing minutes). I suggested with Weber being trade bait possibly and Nashville wanting a top end forward (presuming of course) then that could be a pretty decent trade. Allows Nahsville to sign Suter, get a legit 1st line scorer that they can build around and Ducks can get that big D-man in which they have needed since departure of Pronger/Niedermyer. As much as I would love to have Weber or Ryan on the Canucks, I feel like this is a perfect trade for both Anaheim and Nashville.
Russ
What would it take to pry Ryan and Fowler out of Anahiem? That way we get a superstar power forward and address our need for a puck moving defenseman. I realize that would probably be near impossible to pull off though. D-Money
Kesler + Edler probably the only thing Ducks would accept.
HockeyHobo73
Daniel - Henrik - Burrows Booth - Kesler - Ryan Damn.... That second line will run over our opposition. If only we had the pieces to make this deal go through.

Canucks17_33_22
Offense isn't our problem right now.... it seems that everyone was happy when we got Booth.... guess not. Depth on Defense is probably the thing that we need the most right now
Champions of Nothing
Rangers: Dubinsky for Ryan? Montreal: Plekanec for Ryan? Pittsburgh: Staal for Ryan? St. Louis: Oshie/Berglund for Ryan?
Trebreh
If he's available, MG should be all over this. A Powerforward and a game breaker on our 2nd line with Kesler *drools* Raymond+Ballard+Tanev+1st Would that seal the deal? Or do we have to add in Shroeder?? Sedin - Sedin - Burrows Booth - Kesler - Ryan Higgins - Hodgson - Hansen Malhotra - Lappiere - Weise Edler - Hamhuis Salo - Bieksa Alberts - Rome Our bottom pairing and depth on D will take a little hit, but we would be lighting teams up with that top 9. trevforever
It would take a lot to get a guy like Ryan from Ana but they also need defence so I would assume a major D-man would be a part of the package. Ryan's a guy where all 29 other teams would take a look at it, wonder what the Canucks would give up for him(not saying it would happen, just wondering how he would look with the Sedins or Kess)

Millerdraft
Edler's are just as hard to find, if not moreso.
Champions of Nothing
Moreso. It's a simple matter of numbers. Six defencemen versus twelve forwards dictates that supply and demand reality. How many 50+ point defencemen with 100mph slapshots and devastating bodychecking capability are there in the NHL? Five? I could think of 20 powerforwards quite easily: 1. Nash 2. Perry 3. Getzlaf 4. Iginla 5. Ovechkin 6. Thornton 7. Clowe 8. Kopitar 9. Hossa 10. Kesler 11. Jeff Carter 12. Umberger 13. Backes 14. Chris Stewart 15. Ladd 16. Oshie (arguably) 17. Smyth 18. Franzen 19. E. Staal 20. J. Staal 21. Malkin Etc, etc...
