This guy is really worth looking at. He is leading the OHL with an outstanding 60 points in 28 games. He's got more points than Nail Yakupov, the projected first overall pick in this years draft. The best part, the guy wasn't even drafted. Is he eligible for another draft, or will he become a free agent?

He's eligible for the 2012 draft, can't be signed as a free agent

Bobby MacKinzie said his stock is rising as high as a 1st rounder right now

Honestly, can't go wrong picking this guy.

Sounds like a character player, with plenty of determination and heart.

Johnny Gaudreau>any Casucks

Edler, Markstrom, Hansen, 2nd round pick 2014 to Islanders for Ryan Strome, 5th overall pick 2014

This is fairly even as well.

I hope we pick him, he has determination and even if he busts out he may help some of our other prospects with skills because of his work ethic and determination

Hey all, to keep this thread from getting locked, I will attempt to be discreet with what I am asking so the younger posters who may stumble across this thread back out of it not sure what to think.

So I am going camping with my girlfriend and a couple friends in a few days. Now, I know my girlfriend will want to play on the playground quite a few times each day, and we are going for 3 days. However, we will be drinking liquor during these three days, and it might make it hard for myself to play on the playground. That's not the worry though, the worry is, how do I stay on the playground for a respectable amount of time? I've heard from some male friends that liquor makes it easier to stay on the playground longer, but getting to the playground may come sooner than expected. So what are some things I can do to make sure that be-fore playing and the actual playing on the playground doesn't end too soon?

It is pretty typical to see a 19 or 20 year old ripping it up in the CHL. He could have been drafted in 2010, so he is 2 years older than other players being drafted this year, so naturally he is going to have more success.
It is not uncommon to see players like this: Justin Azevedo, Tyler Donati, and Corey Locke are just a few examples of players who were passed up in their draft year only to tear up the OHL. None of these players have translated their junior success into NHL success.

I'm not saying there isn't a chance Pearson can be different, but what he is doing isn't anything new.

man Tanner Pearson is a rising star. Even if he's not in the top 20 or whatever, he's a point producer and it'd be smart to look at that rather than the standings when choosing our([TheCanucks]) draft pick. He'll be a great addition to the team and get us that much closer - that many more goals closer - to the glorious stanley cup. If he produces, he and hodgson could be the faces of the franchise one day when Burrows and the Sedins are gone.

a point or more a game according to elite prospects.

LOL calm down guys, very impressive season, don't forget he is a overager, and his ice time is literally off the charts, there are times were he is playing around 30 minutes.

Players Nikolaj Ehlers have been compared too by the fan base of the Vancouver Canucks.

1 Pavel Bure

2 Markus Naslund

3 Nathan Mackkinon

4 Jonathan Drouin.

5 Jonathan Tavares

combine results.  Ehlers 5'11 162 lbs of solid rock.
