Just normal fake fans are fine by me. Bandwagoners are also fine for me.

The problem I have is with these moron fans who shows no respect for the other teams and other team's players and make us all look like idiots, including those rioters.

Every time I go read an article on TSN.ca, I see some real dumb comments from the Canucks fan about how much Oilers suck and Flames suck and whatever... those people are way more annoying than the fake fans. Well, Oilers have 5 more cups than us and Flames have one too...

We have/had such classy players like Naslund, Linden, Sedins, and so on as our role models. They always show respect for the other teams and their players but for some reason, the majority of the fans do not take after them... I don't know why.

My sister, being forced to watch the game against Anaheim because it was my last day before going back to uni:

"I F**KING HATE LUONGO"

"You don't even watch the Canucks, you just pretended to last spring. You don't understand hockey, maybe learn a little and analyze the game before you immediately blame Lu?"

"...MOM, BEN'S A STONER SHUN HIM!!!"

Yep...I have to deal with them in my family.

Does she remind anyone else of Yeardley Smith?

I've been a fan since LG73(?) released the "King Richard" 45 I think it had Na na na na hey hey hey goodbye as the flip side.

I also remember my aunt confiscated our white towels after we wrecked her living room whipping them around.

pretty sure I'm an 'authentic' fan

I'll be honest here. I got into hockey because of the 2010-2011 playoff run (my first time ever watching a full run of hockey). I guess I was or still am (?) still considered as a bandwagoner/fake fan to all the true Canucks fans out there. After watching that amazing run, I knew I had to watching from the beginning (the regular season). I love it so far and I haven't missed any games (except when I'm working but usually I just watch the missed games from CanucksTV).

I'm still new with some hockey rules but I'm slowly growing accustomed to it. It's really nice to watch these games with my friends, family (I got them into it too) and even strangers in pubs. I want to witness and feel all that frustration and happiness you guys feel whenever Canucks win or lose. I don't know.. to me, it feels so surreal (sorry if I'm sounding like a drama queen but it's really hard to describe it). Looking back now, I wondered how I was able to live without hockey. Right now, I can't live without it

To all the true fans out there: Even though right now I am still considered as bandwagoner/fake fan to you guys, I am working my best to really become a "true fan". I love this team and I want to see them succeed just like you guys :) And even if they become Stanley cup winners in the future, I will not stop cheering for them and I will continue to watch every games afterward.

Im the biggest Canuck fan/homer my friends, coworkers and family know. Im a diehard fan, but I take players sides all the time, and defend the team whenever.I hate other teams and other fans, and treat rival fans like foreigners. The end.

I hate people who criticize players on our team and they dont even follow the sport

Fake Fan:

Someone who follows the Canucks only because they are doing well and winning. Shows little to no knowledge about the team or the sport in general. Buys the team's jersey in the midst of the Stanley Cup Playoffs because it is the cool thing to do. Adamantly flaunts their love for the team, and only shows interest when it is a noticeable time to do so.

e.g. Our lovely premier Christy Clark, the #1 fake fan in the province.
