Something I think has been a bit confused amongst the league is the value of players; its a pretty simple formula; What I am basing this on is the values used in EA's NHL Be-A-Pro/EASHL

SNP - Sniper

PWF - Power Forward

TWF - Two-Way Forward

PLY - Playmaker

GRN - Grinder

TGH - Tough Guy

TWD - Two-Way Defensemen

OFD - Offensive Defensemen

TGH - Tough Guy Defensemen

DFD - Defensive Defensemen

EA's ratings system is a bit messed up; Two-Way D's are the hardest players to bring up the overalls of; therefore an 82 TWD vs an 82 DFD; the TWD is more valuable simply because of the way EA rates them. Forwards are pretty much a scratch; though your top 6 is naturally important, players with high offensive attributes are important.
