shiznak
Huge let down, aside from seeing the past Legends. Why do we need to see a Brodus Clay squash match on a histortic episode?
marinated.pea
Anyone else mark out when Damien Sandow interrupted DX? I just started laughing my butt off cause of how ridiculously appropriate it was, second favourite part of the night after CM Punks turn.
Kazmanian Devil
Gonna write random thoughts on the episode. -I want to see more of Heath Slater for some reason. -What the hell is Tout and why does WWE think we care? -No Stone Cold or Edge. -That was a great way to get Sandow some heat, his mic work is excellent. -Wishful thinking, but I hope Christian lost the IC title so that he could pursue the WHC. -I clicked fast-forward when Santino and Hornswoggle came out. -Swagger must have pissed somebody off really bad. -Ziggler vs. Jericho has the potential to be a very good feud. -Lesnar needs to win at SummerSlam. He'll be a joke if he loses another big match. -AJ as GM could be good... but could also be terrible. -The Rock gets a title shot for no reason. -Tyson Kidd should've faced Christian, especially with Bret Hart as ring announcer. -Lita looks great. -Why is Charlie Sheen here? To use the word "epic" improperly? Please don't let him face Bryan at SummerSlam. -Nice to see JBL. -Undertaker managed to botch taking off his hood. -Undertaker vs. Mae Young's Son at Wrestlemania, please. -We finally have a heel champion. INB4 Cena wins the title at SummerSlam.
g_bassi13
That was a pretty disappointing show I suppose. It was overhyped, but not horrible in quality. Honestly the crowd made it worse. They were bad. They popped big on very specific occasions, but were dead silent for large parts. Punk, Jericho, Rock, Undertaker, DX, and Daniel Bryan's wedding all got big reactions, but they needed to be prodded for sounds most of the night. There was no buzz in the stadium. Personally, I enjoyed Sandow coming out against DX. I enjoyed Lita's fight, and loved it when APA came out. Agree with Bure Who, I wish they brought back JBL. In fact I loved the whole legend's segment and how it went down. Liked all the little appearances, including the one by Trish. Loved the heel turn by Punk there. His face character was getting stale as hell, so I look forward to see where he goes now. The turn itself was well acted. Did not like Lesnar getting tossed out of the ring. Why do they keep doing this? They have this intense physical presence, and they keep burying him... He doesn't have any momentum anymore. Why does HHH keep putting himself over? As a boss, he should know better, but his ego is too big. Screw HHH. I'm so tired of this. Just watch him win at Summerslam. I wouldn't be surprised. Do not look forward in the slightest to seeing AJ as a GM. I get tired of how overexposed she has already been, so focusing on her for 3 hours on a weekly basis is going to start to grate on my nerves. Daniel Bryan vs. Charlie Sheen? Lol Overall I felt the show did drag... and that is with this overbooked episode. I don't know how the hell they're going to manage doing 3 hours without these cameos and all. It's going to be a chore. Look forward to what Punk is going to do. Continue to look forward to Jericho vs. Ziggler. But not much else.

Grapefruits
"Stone Cold" Steve Austin Explains Why He Didn't Appear On Raw's 1000th Episode By Daniel Pena Jul 24, 2012 - 1:27:16 PM "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, who Vince McMahon has dubbed the greatest star in the history of Monday Night Raw, was noticeably absent from Monday's 1000 episode celebration. The legendary wrestler addressed his absence from the program with an explanation on his official website, BrokenSkullRanch.com. "The reason I did not attend RAW 1,000 was because I underwent a major knee surgery on my left knee on July 2, 2012. Dr. Neal ElAttrache of the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles, CA performed the surgery," he states. Austin says the surgery was a complete success, but he remains on crutches and recently began physical therapy. He continues, "STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN IS A 100% ASS KICKING MACHINE. There was no way I was going to limp down the ramp on crutches for RAW 1,000. It was time to get my knee fixed. The decision to no-show RAW 1,000 was made by me and no one else. I have always taken pride in making my shots and have never faked an injury or illness. Pro Wrestling is a tough game and it was time to pay the piper for some of the damage I incurred in the ring. No gripes. No complaints. "To the fans that were hoping to see SCSA, I’m sorry I missed the show. I would have loved to be there under different circumstances. I normally keep my personal business to myself, but due to feedback and incorrect speculation, I have posted this blog and given the 411 on why I was not at RAW 1,000." He looked drunk or high, out of shape with a big gut.
key2thecup
^ fair enough, not wanting to limp down the entrance, the WWE could have scripted something for him, oh well hopefully he still shows his face once he is better.
SheaWeber6
Yeah, it would be soooo weak if Austin came limping down to the ramp, I am glad he didn't show up since that was going to be the case.
key2thecup
Definitely wasted by the looks of it, which is pretty brutal. That was possibly his one shot at getting his foot back in the door maybe and he totally screwed that. Maybe he's shooting for a free rehab stay though. Common sense
Damn, Lita. Still looking as good as ever. Liked the Punk heel turn, although I still wish it was Cena. As for the title ending in DQ, that just sucks...I wanted a clean win or lose, but that obviously wasn't going to happen after the ref got knocked out. Vanuck14
I wish they had The Coach back last night as well, he and The Rock had some classic interactions back in the day. And what has happened to Jack Swagger? Wow. Former World Heavyweight Champion gets owned. I did not think it could get any worse for the guy. I am worried with that extra hour starting next week, I just can not imagine how much filler crap they will have.

Grapefruits
Kevin Nash Says There Will Be An nWo Reunion - To Take Place In WWE Or TNA? By Daniel Pena Jul 25, 2012 - 12:50:45 AM The New World Order created chaos in the ranks of World Championship Wrestling as the renegade faction sought success by any means necessary. Now, group founder Kevin Nash is looking to reform the nefarious faction and run roughshod over the world of wrestling once again. "A lot of you wanted an NWO reunion, there will be one. As you know we only come in take over mode. Stay tuned!!!," he announced Tuesday night via Twitter. The group's reformation could take place in WWE and if Nash has his wish fulfilled, with CM Punk as their leader. Nash tweeted to a fan that he wants the WWE Champion as group captain with the "NWO army to protect the gold." "Rock will never walk out of the Rumble with the belt. We got Phil's back," he adds. Meanwhile, TNA Wrestling executive Eric Bischoff re-tweeted Nash's announcement reading "A lot of you wanted an NWO reunion, there will be one. As you know we only come in take over mode. Stay tuned!!!" Even though I hope he is right about Rock winning the belt. WWE gives it to Rock and Im pretty sure Ill stop watching forever. Rey
They should bring back the tag teams. I remember back in the day, I would love seeing the Dudley Boys throwing everyone in table matches. Have Sandow + Rhodes as a team that pisses people off, turn Titus and whats his face to table specialist, have Rey and Sin Cara as the high flyers, and then bring back Rock and Sock Connection, to make it all serious. Then, it'll get everyone over, as long as the tag teams don't all get squashed by the Big show. Have them build up, to a big pay per view, then make it a table tag team(where it's a elimination where once you go through a table you are done, and the person who eliminates the remaining 1 member, wins). That why you don't have to embarrass the Rock, and Mick Foley can sacrifice himself and take out 2 guys, Sin Cara and Rey can be flying all over the place. Then, you have Sandow and Rhodes win the tag team, and since they are over, they can both start moving up to be super heels. Maybe, end it off with a sweet as ending where Rock does the rock bottom, while Rhodes jumps from the top rope and hits everyone into the tables. Add in a twist where Sin Cara turns on Rey and they put each other through tables. I dunno, I'm new to this stuff.
