-- Current creative plans call for The Undertaker to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXIX.

Does anyone else see Lesnar vs. Taker a little dangerous? With Taker getting up there in age I could see Lesnar actually hurting him.

-- Tensai failed to impress WWE officials in his pinfall victory over John Cena on the April 16 Raw SuperShow and was deemed "a flop" as a result. He is being largely relegated to WWE Superstars while his character is retooled.

Once again WWE screws up with the Tensai gimmick, it was stupid from the start. May as well have brought him back as A-Train

It sounds like this Friday's Smackdown isn't worth watching.

Last night’s WWE SmackDown taping results from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The show will air Friday night on SyFy (US) and on Sky Sports (UK).

Dark Match:

Dean Ambrose defeated Luke Hawkins.

SmackDown results;

World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus opens the show and cuts a promo on Alberto Del Rio and their title match at WWE No Way Out. David Otunga then comes out and demands an apology from Sheamus for running down John Laurinaitis two weeks ago. Sheamus refuses and Del Rio comes out. Otunga reveals that Del Rio will pick Sheamus’ opponent tonight. Otunga then gets hit with the Brogue Kick as Del Rio flees to the back.

1) Sin Cara (with new read and white ring gear and new pyro) defeated Heath Slater in his return match. The bout was said to be a good one and had no botches!

2) Damien Sandow defeated Ezekiel Jackson with the neckbreaker finisher. They did the deal where Sandow cut the promo and refused to wrestle but Zeke brought him back in the ring, only to be defeated.

Alberto Del Rio is backstage with Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler tells him he wants to be the one to face Sheamus tonight.

3) Ryback defeated two local indie jobbers in a squash match.

Vickie Guerrero comes out with Dolph and cuts promo on Sheamus. Dolph has been chosen to wrestle “The Great White” and that match is next.

4) World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus defeated Dolph Ziggler with the Brogue Kick in a non-title match. Jack Swagger interfered in the match but it backfired allowing Sheamus the victory.

5) Zack Ryder & Santino Marella defeated Darren Young & Titus O’Neil in a match that lasted less than two minutes.

Post-match Big Show came out and beat up Santino on the stage, throwing him off the set. He then beat up Ryder before giving the knockout WMD punch to Santino. The crowd boos him heavily.

Daniel Bryan is backstage with AJ Lee trying to convince her that CM Punk is just using her.

6) Cody Rhodes defeated Tyson Kidd in another short match. WWE IC Champion Christian was on commentary and he and Rhodes had a confrontation of words after the match.

7) WWE Champion CM Punk and Kane went to a DQ for the title when Daniel Bryan interfered. Bryan attacked them both until Kane fought back with a double chokeslam. John Laurinaitis then interrupted and announced that a three-way for the WWE Title at No Way Out between CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Kane. AJ Lee ended up in the ring with both Punk and Bryan. She left by herself and Bryan slapped Punk but he fought back with a GTS to end the show.

- There is once again talk of WWE merging the Intercontinental and United States title. With WWE recently bringing back the classic IC title and the US title held by comedy act Santino Marella, WWE will likely drop the US title after a unification match.

There are no plans to unify the WWE Championship and the World Heavyweight title because WWE likes having both belts defended on the separate RAW and SmackDown live events.

WWE has big plans in store for Ryback, who has continuously steamrolled enhancement talent since debuting on SmackDown in April.

SuperLuchas.net reports Vince McMahon has notified creative to script Ryback as dominant as possible in future outings. The WWE Chairman is very high on the SmackDown Superstar as he feels he can be his company's version of Bill Goldberg.

---- I wonder if Vince got the idea from all the "Goldberg" chants during his matches?

For some reason a big deal has not been made of this here but Lesnar was at the last UFC Fight in front row. Dave Meltzer was reporting him and Dana talked the night before in a meeting that Lesnar wanted.

Like it or not the guy could still make the UFC money and he is selfish and money hungry enough to shove it to the WWE in the middle of a contract.

We will see what happens though.
