GLASSJAW
Soooo happy GZA's Liquid Swords re-issue just got a 10/10 on p4k. Wu Tang's 36 Chambers and GZA's Liquid Swords, to me, are the pinnacle of hip hop. The best of the entire genre. The beats, the guest appearances, GZA's lyrics... all amazing. Method Man absolutely destroys this song, especially in his second verse: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ANYwM0RO9I
D-Money
Been digging the new Twin Shadow. Love the "Don Henley meets Prince" vibe. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zwZDvj565g&feature=related New Fiona Apple is pretty darn good too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BE63YYi_IBE Shearwater has been out a few months, and I don't put it on as much as I did when it came out. But I still love the lead-off track. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7TSEpH5NHSo

Hume
The Antlers new EP was just released (8.1 on pitchfork), which, to me, seems like a lower rating than it deserves. This band keeps getting better.
Hugemanskost
Just got my new "Classic Rock" mag in the mail. I always look forward to a new issue. New ZZTop single for those who like Texas Blues... I Gotsa Get Paid. Love it! "25 lighters on my dresser, yessir... Ya know I gotsa get paid."
GLASSJAW
you don't think Hospice is the best thing they've done? i mean, i agree that their recent stuff is more listenable. but as a whole?
GLASSJAW
Was checking out songs by non-headliners at Rifflandia, and apparently this DOLDRUMS guy is gonna be there. Some dude from Montreal that throws together a bunch of samples to create... well... Cool song.

Hume
i saw Dirty Projectors the other day at the House of Blues. maaan they're crazy live, have any of you guys seen them? dude's a terrific guitarist and singer, and then they've got all these ridiculously complex vocal harmonies with 3 girl singers. i'm starting to listen to the new album more now and i seriously dig it, especially the first song. Hume
I enjoy the Dirty Projectors from time to time. Always wondered if they could pull off their sound live. Good to know. The new album is good, but I don't think it's better than their last - Bitte Orca. Stillness Is The Move is definitely my favourite song of theirs. GLASSJAW
new Ariel Pink is alright, yet to blow me away like Before Today did. new Yeasayer just got a really poor review on p4k. Anyone listened to it yet? new Bloc Party was received poorly as well. Remember how great Silent Alarm is? new Green Day single is almost as terrible as the new Muse track. oh 2012, how i hate thee
