Psycho_Path
Slightly off topic, but I guarantee if i made a new thread it would get locked by our oh so gracious moderators. What is every ones thoughts on yzerman? I mean, he doesnt exactly run the best NHL team, why was he chosen to represent our country? Was there no better options available? Is he better at his job than I give him credit for? Or am I just in thinking that this task should have been delegated to someone else more capable? Mookie Wilson
We are one year away from the opening of the Sochi games. I doubt Yzerman has many guys penciled in at this point. Still lots of spots up for grabs. Forwards Locks: Crosby, Toews, Stamkos, Nash Probables: E. Staal, Getzlaf, Perry, Bergeron, Giroux, Tavares Others: Thornton, Marleau, Iginla, M. Richards, J. Staal, Benn, Eberle, Couture, Seguin, Hall, RNH, St. Louis, Spezza, Neal, Lucic, Laad Defense: Locks: Weber, Pietrangelo Probables: Doughty, Keith Others: Boyle, Seabrook, Letang, Girardi, Staal, J. Schultz, Bouwmeester, Burns, Hamhuis, Subban, Phaneuf, Myers Goalies: Locks: Price Probables: Luongo Others: Fleury, Mike Smith, Brodeur, Crawford, Ward
Argon
I like hamhuis as much as the next guy, but he doesn't exude top 6 canadian defender to me. Maybe a spare if he's lucky.

Mookie Wilson
FYI: Olympic rosters have been expanded to 25 players, opening 3 extra spots. I expect Yzerman will select 14 F, 8 D and 3 G, though perhaps he would take 15 and 7.

Tortorella's Rant
Nash - Crosby - Stamkos B.Richards - Giroux - Perry Staal - Toews - Tavares Lucic - Eberle - Couture Neal Weber - Keith Letang - Pietrangelo Boyle - Doughty Burns Luongo Price ... Assuming everyone is on their game by that point. A few of those guys are blowing chunks right now.
Tortorella's Rant
Maybe Thornton. Who knows. It's too far away yet to set lines and finalize your roster.

Garrison
It's a short tournament so prior chemistry is a good thing. St.Louis-Crosby-Stamkos Neal-Giroux-Tavares Nash-Toews-Perry Staal-Staal-M.Richards Extras: Eberle, B.Richards Eberle will take Neal's place if the second line isn't clicking. While B.Richards could play on either the second or third line if their is a chemistry issue. Weber-Letang Keith-Doughty Pietrangelo- Staal Extras: Subban and Girardi Subban is an exciting, game changing player while Girardi is a good steady d-man. Price Luongo Fleury
