Getzaf will part of team canada playing with Perry and Nash...........Scott Hartnell could make the team because of him and Giroux history............why have Seguin or Jordon Staal proven to make the team?

One day some of us will look back on the year and look at the chicago, and most of us will realize that it was a small bump in the road to the cup

Nash - Crosby - Stamkos
B.Richards - Giroux - Perry
Staal - Toews - Tavares
Lucic - Eberle - Couture

Weber - Keith
Letang - Pietrangelo
Boyle - Doughty

... Assuming everyone is on their game by that point. A few of those guys are blowing chunks right now.

Maybe Thornton.

Who knows. It's too far away yet to set lines and finalize your roster.

A guy that should get a long look is Alex Burrows
Has speed
Kills penalties
Plays center if needed
plays defense if needed
very good forechecker
very responsible on defense
scores huge goals.

Suprised not many people have put Mike Smith in their lineups

Because Mike Smith works well with Tippett's system in Phoenix. He plays deep in his net, therefore, allows him to stop cross creasers much easier and quicker. He's big, so it allows him to cover up a lot of net even when he's backed up towards his net. And, Phoenix plays a defence first system. He's good because of the system he's in. Much like how Martin Brodeur was good back when New Jersey played in that tight defensive system.

credit to allons-y

Certainly going to be our #1 defensemen. Give him a couple more years to improve his game and he'll be our new and improved version of Matthias Ohlund in no time

It's a short tournament so prior chemistry is a good thing.

Extras: Eberle, B.Richards

Eberle will take Neal's place if the second line isn't clicking. While B.Richards could play on either the second or third line if their is a chemistry issue.

Pietrangelo- Staal
Extras: Subban and Girardi
Subban is an exciting, game changing player while Girardi is a good steady d-man.
