Patrick Jane
Should cory schneider start playing more games since Luongo hasnt been playing very good lately and let him work on his mistakes?

Everybody Hates Raymond
It's not his fault that Edler has been invisible out there. We have 3 d-men working hard. That's it. Luongo is not being "inconsistent", watch the games.. Not the boxscore after.
Starmie
The sedins and defence have been invisible for a couple of games now, you can't really blame Luongo and expect him to get a shutout every game.
susraiders
I don't think we should play Schneider any more than usual. If anything, we should play Luongo more so that he can regain his form before the playoffs.

Kamero89
lol did you want Luongo to start scoring to? Do you want him to start playing defence as well? These losses are not his fault by any means. Yeah, he lets a bad goal time to time, but he has given the Canucks a chance to win in almost every game this season.
Stick-in-Rink
Why do people think that sitting Luongo will wake him of his slump? Luongo is the kind of guy that needs to play several strings of games to get his mental focus and game back together. Luongo always has his hottest of streaks when he plays numerous games. How is Luongo going to work on his game sitting? He needs to play in order to improve, we've seen the great Luongo this season and it's just a matter of time till we get him back. I say we play him out of this slump unless if it exceeds for a vast amount of time. With which we have an amazing back-up ready to take over. Tony Romo
What goalie in the NHL has been great all year long. Maybe lundqvist and that's it. Pekka rinne has had some tough games,Tim Thomas has been inconsistent. All goalies have bad stretches in a season.
wai_lai416
Actually, earlier in the year, benching him and letting Schneids go on a tear worked wonders for Lu when he came back into the game. They do most of their improving during practices. Game day is not time to improve your game, it's to put the practice to work.

nucklehead53
I'd say keep him in. He'll find his game, and the more game play he gets, the better it is. Although, towards the end, I would rest him when things are everything but done.

RyanKeslord17
It seems thag Lu gets pretty rattled as soon as he has one bad game (Buffalo) and then follows it up with a string of bad performances (stars and habs). I feel he will turn it around the next game he starts, he always does, but as soon as he hits another bad game, theres a string of more bad games to follow. It's just how he is.... Nothing we can do. Not that he played horribly against DAL and MTL, just not as good as he can and should be.
smurf47
Until Lou fixes his weaknesses he will not improve...all he will do is get better at doing it poorly. Its like golf...if you have a slice and keep doing the same thing at the range and course all you end up doing is practising the slice and getting very good at it...there are technical shortcomings in Luongos game right now and until he fixes those...more games will not make him any better. And for the record...to consider that Lou was on a tear is fanciful thinking. the team was on a tear..he did win a few games on his play but others were just average goaltending.
