New Canucks Opening Video

27 posts in this topic

For those who haven't had the chance to see the new opening video: http://video.canucks.nhl.com/videocenter/console?catid=6&id=163370

I think its pretty cool with the ice cracking and stuff. Anyone know the audio track that's used? I want to use it in a video. What do you guys think of it?

If there's already a thread with the video lock this thread. I made a search but didn't find one.

Its like our play as of late:

Soft.

Not a fan. I liked the old one better. It needs to be something that will pump up the crowd and the players. This one sounds like the end credits to a movie.

That was awesome in my books.

Finally, something those rich sucka's in lower bowl can't enjoy.

:)

How about Canucks opening montage's... There have been quite a few good ones, especially around the playoffs.

I thought this one was cool.

Also this one used to give the chills.

A year later, and it has even more substance with the lyrics "we could have had it all".

It blends together very well with where the streets have no name.

Started off cool with the ice breaking but got pretty tame after that. Didn't pump me up, almost the opposite.

I was at Game 5 vs Nashville for what it's worth :P lol far as the main vid goes in this topic.... definatly doesn't pump me up at all.... to whoever said the music was epic or very... cinimatic, I disagree, the "remember the titans" theme for the ring of honor stuff is very epical, this song to me though doesn't do it... just my opinion

CBC has pretty great montages.

Sucks that skill and enthusiasm doesn't translate to their other departments very well...

LAME!

Why they insist on wussifying this team I'll never know. I just hope it changes for the playoffs cause this won't get anybody going.
