Mustapha
Not sure why people seem to dislike Avery so much. It's true that he underachieves and has a bad attitude, but I find him entertaining to watch. When he does give a damn and plays hard, he's a pretty good hockey player. Some people go to the circus to see the clowns, and since the NHL is a circus anyway, Avery might as well suit up.
Mason Raymond21
Shed the on-and-off-ice antics, and maybe he could be a team asset. But that depends on whether any team is willing to give him a second chance.
schlaBAM
cant say i don't mind the guy, some of his antics he did (like the Avery rule on Brodeur) was hilarious. I actually found him to be a beauty, even if he had an attitude.
Legend Killer
I seriously always thought the Leafs should've taken a chance on him.
Vigneault's Timeout
He's a comedian for the NHL. He's controversial at times but that's why I like him. The character you love to root for and laugh against at the same time... that is the essence of Sean Avery. At least he has a modelling career to fall back on. Canucks_Fan81
Nobody wants to I could see him being signed at league min in off season. His contract was just over 3.5 a season. Even at half that sucks.
Opmac
If he wants to play hockey, there will be a team that will be willing to give him a chance. He's a good hockey player when his head is in it. Why is this guy hated so much? It seems like it's cool to hate on him much like how it's cool to hate on the Canucks.

Jai604
Pat Morris says Sean Avery's future plans will be determined by interest in the summer. Says he was "joking" last night. Lol.
NexusRift
Just you wait. TSN or SN will recruit him as a hockey analyst. Seems players of Avery's type get those jobs. As they've done so with Kipper, Barnaby, Ray, etc.

Kegmeister Julius
I'm sure their captain would have accepted him with open arms and there would be no ill feelings at all...
wtpasc
I'm hoping that during this "retirement" Sean Avery takes a long hard look at his attitude and demeanor, as well as what he has accomplished and what he has yet to accomplish. I hope he takes a real look at himself and makes the decision to change. I personally think that a Sean Avery without the baggage would be an asset to any team. It is in his hands now, he can revive his career, it just might take some growing up.
