Was I the only one expecting a Canuck fan about to rip on CoHo again?

Kass looked great in the first few games, but has slowed off a bit in the past few, mainly because of 4th line minutes.

Yea, kinda the same thing with cody.. He played awesome in the first few games, but has slowed down and had some costly TO's.. But like i said, im still excited about his future, and still think it was a good move for both teams..

Kass looked good in the first three games, and then disappeared.

MAGs has looked terrible, in my opinion... but given enough time (talking off-season, going into next season), he looks like he has potential to use his skating and (right now lacking) sense for when to jump up in the offensive zone.

First couple of games these guys were playing on adrenaline. Once that energy leaves they will feel pretty drained. Give them a few more games to see how they will truly play. All I know is that the playoff atmosphere is going to jack up Kassian. Kassian and lapierre are going to make the fans go nuts with hits. :D

Ya, Cody seemed pretty shocked about the trade, he's probably still shaken by it. I looked at some stats and what the hell is Ruff thinking giving him 11 mins a game!?!?! thats why he was traded in the first place :P
My 2014 Draft wishlist: 1st rd: Draisaitl, Virtanen, Scherbak. 2nd rd: Brendan Lemieux, Thatcher Demko (Goalie)

Sulzer only played 14 minutes tonight, he's simply playing decently with the time he's getting. Unlike here where he played pretty well in general but was put in the press box anyways. That's how AV rolls if you're not one of HIS guys.

Pretty surprising though that Sulzer has a goal and an assist so far in 6 games in Buffal, and CoHo has zero. What is it about new forwards that actually do have talent, arriving in Buffalo and absolutely producing zero. Leino came to Buffalo and couldn't score to save his life, now same with CoHo. weird.

theres no reason to rip on cody...

except for him being the only rookie in the league who isnt satisfied with learning his position behind an art ross winner and a selke winner... all the while playing for a cup contending team.

LOL at his chances at competing for the calder ending on trade deadline.

Cody is going to be one of the best foward from that draft. As a Canuck fan I really liked having him, and I'm happy for the Sabres organization for having him. Kassian is doing well for us. Sometimes he's on the 4th line for now. We know he is in the developing stage. The advantage of having him is that, he's a big fast skating body that will throw hits. So even if he's not producing, he can still help our team, by adding toughness. As for Cody, if he's not doing any thing offensive, he's nothing. Zack is still very young, but Canuck fans including myself are looking foward to what he can really do in the playoffs. Oh BTW, Cody is a lethal shoot out player. One of our best when he was here.

Players Nikolaj Ehlers have been compared too by the fan base of the Vancouver Canucks.

1 Pavel Bure

2 Markus Naslund

3 Nathan Mackkinon

4 Jonathan Drouin.

5 Jonathan Tavares

combine results.  Ehlers 5'11 162 lbs of solid rock.

Sulzer is a turd.

Why would you say that?
The dude barely played any games here. Certainly he didn't play enough games to earn him a reputation like that.

First trade of Hodgson's career so he's probably still trying to get comfortable. Once he gets going you guys will see what a great player he can be.

In my eyes drouin is overrated he can score in the qmjhl but did nothing in last two gold medal games that canada lost. Fox will be better pro than him talk to me in five yrs

I don't think I'll lose any sleep over trading a guy who was the sixth d-man on the Panthers, Predators and Canucks. At his best he's a depth guy. Hardly a huge loss.

Sabres fans have been pleasantly surprised with Sulzer. It's sad that AV doghoused him in favour of Rome and Alberts.

Vancouver: 12gp, 0G 1A, +6
Buffalo: 6gp, 1G 1A, +2

Pretty decent stats, would have been a perfect bottom pairing defenseman who could play on both sides.

The best part of having Kassian here so far was the face he made after he got into that fight. Priceless
