VancityBeast
The Sedin line was beyond useless. When you know that line did not produce much the whole game, why put that line the last minute. I would have sent out Kesler, Booth line. (sigh)
babybulls211
Lou GAA is 2.48 with a .916 save percentage. Bryz is 2,53 with a .908 save percentage, so if that is "much worse stats" Cory GAA is 2.09 with a .932 save percentage on the same team with a much higher percentage of road games. If Bryz and his .05 GAA and .008 save percentage is as you put is much worse stat wise on a worse team without their top d-man most of the season, then what is it called when Lou has a GAA .39 higher and .016 save percentage worse than a guy playing in front of the same players. Brock10
I was always told by hockey coaches growing up that scoring 4 goals should be enough to win a game. Defensive breakdowns, odd man rushes, juicy rebounds and a ridiculous off the chest goal cost the team this game. Otherwise I liked the offence and the Sedins finally getting on the scoreboard. On to Columbus this Saturday, I would start Schneider, I think that last thing Canucks need right now is a goaltending controversy going into the playoffs, but this team needs some W's to finish off the season. Whether it's Luongo or Schneider in net, doesn't really matter to me anymore, just as long as they put some wins together and build confidence come playoff time. Cigano
Gotta start Schneider next game and I think it'll be good for Lu if they start Schneids for a few in a row. Look what happened earlier in the season when Luongo came back from injury and Schneids was playing 7 games in a row or whatever. Lui came back in and dominated for months and earned his job back playing as one of the best in the league over that span. They should do the same right now, come back with Lui with a few games left and have him carry this team deep into the playoffs just like he did last year. DIBdaQUIB
Luongo has be crap since the buffalo game no doubt. The stats show it. But we all know how good he has been prior for the past few months. I know confidently he will get over his struggles. But all I got to say, if Lu gets traded somehow, only will be a matter of time before Schnieder goes through a funk or struggles and he is going to get bashed to death the same way Lu does. But fans think he won't ever struggle...Only a matter of time.
DeNiro
Anyone know what the deal with Alberts is? Did we trade him at the deadline and nobody noticed? I honestly think he would be an upgrade over Gragnani right now. That guy takes too many chances.
vancanfan
Not sure what the hell Bieksa was thinking on that 3 on 1, and trying to go 5 hole on Smith, he should have passed the puck over.

Van_City123
Just a coincidence...they were playing poorly before he got traded. Only difference was our goaltending was stealing games. Now that our goaltending is struggling its showing how rough this team has actually been for awhile. Cody had like 3 points in the previous 10 games before getting traded or something like that so he wasn't doing much either
nucklehead53
5 goals against Buffalo, Dallas, AND PHOENIX? Are you kidding? Phoenix? 5 goals? Come one guys, the mental errors need to be fixed. Start playing conservative D. Defence wins championships. On the side note, the Canucks are "too good" to take more than a game to come out of a "funk." They should be able to this in one, maximum 2 games.
MashedBananas
I'm thankful atleast we're not fighting for a spot right now. We would have won if it wasn't for the brutal defense and goaltending,

Get real canuck fans
I just wanted to point out every goalies go through tough stretches and have faith. Remember Philly fans threw Bryz under the bus when he was god awful at the beginning? He's paid 10 mil and he was a sieve. And now he posts 3 straight shutouts. Trebreh
MG cannot trade CS, he needs to do everything in his power to keep him because Luongo is a modern day Jekyll and Hyde. He needs to find a way to convince Luongo to waive his clause and fool a GM to take him. I have absolutely no faith in him anymore. Way too inconsistent, you never know what youre gonna get with him. Sure he's good in the regular season, but big games.. yikes. Burrows singlehandedly saved AV and Luongo's job in game 7 of round 1 last year. If we had lost that game it would've been the most epic collapse in NHL history. The day we trade CS and not Luongo will be a sad day.

Understand
Of course I rather the Canucks win but the good thing about this loss is that it pissed off the teams that are trying to make the playoffs! hahahaha...San Jose, LA, Calgary etc......they are in a dog fight! Meanwhile, we can just relax and watch them fight for the last couple of spots.....what a luxury.....
babybulls211
Philly has no capable backup like Cory. Bobrovsky has a GAA over 3 and still played back to back games far more than Cory. Cory would have far less starts than Bobrovsky. Other than when Lou was injured Cory has started 14 games. Sitting helped Thomas before,,,I say it helped Bryz this year,,why throw a struggling goalie in again and again when you actually do have a great bakup. vancanfan
Shoot the far pad and look for the rebound? It looks that way but the rebound goes right to a Coyote stick and they scored.
