Kack Zassian
Lets say the following players all got hurt last night and were out until playoffs Henrik, Daniel, Kesler, Booth, Burrows, Higgins Edler, Hamhuis, Bieksa, Ballard So minus our top 6 forwards and our top 4 d-men (yes Salo is the only healthy one, I know) How would you setup your roster? *Ignoring waivers and callup rule Hansen Schroeder Raymond Reinprecht Pahlsson Mancari Bitz. Lapierre Kassian Duco Malhotra Weise Rome Salo Gragnani Tanev Alberts Connauton

shawn antoski
I would go with a youth movement FORWARDS Zack Kassian ($0.870m) / Maxim Lapierre ($1.000m) / Jannik Hansen ($1.350m) Mason Raymond ($2.550m) / Jordan Schroeder ($1.025m) / Anton Rodin ($0.900m) Manny Malhotra ($2.500m) / Samuel Pahlsson ($2.650m) / Nicklas Jensen ($0.925m) Dale Weise ($0.605m) / Steven Reinprecht ($2.050m) / Byron Bitz ($0.700m) DEFENSEMEN Sami Salo ($2.000m) / Marc-Andre Gragnani ($0.550m) Chris Tanev ($0.900m) / Kevin Connauton ($0.900m) Aaron Rome ($0.750m) / Andrew Alberts ($1.225m) GOALTENDERS Roberto Luongo ($5.333m) / Cory Schneider ($0.900m)
Niloc009
Raymond-Schroeder-Kassian (best chance for a top line, a passer, a shooter, and a powerforward) Sweatt-Lapierre-Rodin (all three are defensively sound, and Lappy has shown some offensive tools) Hansen-Pahlsson-Bitz (Could be a good shutdown line, used heavily against the opponent's top line) Weise-Malhotra-Duco (rough and tumble fourth, high compete level here) Alberts-Salo (I guess it's a shutdown pairing, but Alberts would be scary to trust playing that many minutes) Connauton-Tanev (was a great pairing for the Wolves this season. Hopefully K-Conn's ready for the show) Gragnani-Rome (Reliable 3rd pairing, with some offense) Luongo Schneider
Jai604
My head hurts to think of that scenario. Don't jinx us, please.
bossram
We would immediately be swept out of the playoffs, so it's a moot point. *knock on wood*

Langdon Algur
I am not superstious at all but this thread still gives me the shivers after trading Hodgson we can't afford to losse Kesler OR Henrik the idea of lossing both makes me a bit ill. AFrame14
we would be totally effed.. but id just tray and make the biggest goon team we could. maybe have a few skilled players like schroeder but the rest goons.

Langdon Algur
Yes, because Hodgson was DEFINITELY ready to be thrown into a top-6 center role. Just ask a Sabres fan! If we had a long-term injury to both Henrik and Kesler, we're done like dinner - having Hodgson wouldn't change that.

D-Money
yeah cause Schreoder, Raymond or Lappy are able to step in and centre the top line better than Hodgson could have, right?Didn't we trade Hodgson cause he had top 6 ability but we had no room for him? D-Money
Wait a moment - what if the fans all got hurt before the next game - would the Canucks make a sound if no one was their to hear?
