Amish Rake Fighter
I think you have to give a little leeway in a GDT. Its all about following the action and commenting. Sure "Go Canucks Go" is not really a comment on the action, but its not any worse than fans in the stands. Go Canucks Go

Dragonfruits
A few years back, Bob Gainey had an idea about how to increase offense. His plan was to penalize guys who fall to the ice in an attempt to block a shot. I'm not sure how practical it would be to enforce such a rule, but shot blocking in this league is an epidemic and adds absolutely no excitement to the game. there's nothing you can really do to eliminate it, but Gainey's suggestion would certainly lessen it. alt kilgore
I seriously wish we'd get off the topic of Luongo vs. Schneider on the GDT. I don't mind that talk, but why in the GDT? As soon as the one that's playing lets in a goal, the other side says "If ________ was in net and let that in we'd never hear the end of it" And if they make a great save its "If ________ was in net he'd have let that one in probably" or something similar. I guess its too much to ask though. Why can't someone criticize a soft goal without being accused of having a HATE ON. Or praising a goalie's performance without being a brown noser?
