As tweeted by Bob McKenzie. Two years @ $1.1 per.

In my eyes drouin is overrated he can score in the qmjhl but did nothing in last two gold medal games that canada lost. Fox will be better pro than him talk to me in five yrs

Gaudreau has one NHL goal whereas all your "prized" prospects have none.

ryan kesler is going to the chicago blackhawks ...       quote me on it

1.1 sounds like a lot, but its probably close to/just under what he would have made on July 1st. Boston needs him. Good signing IMO.

Grrr...the Bruins stay douchey for another two years. Good for both sides, particularly for Boston, as value-per-$ this deal keeps Thornton right at the top of the NHL.

It's kinda laughable how Chris Neil supposedly took a "hometown discount" for re-signing at $2 million.

Hate him, but hey, if he was a Canucks will you be complaining? Probably not, hard working guy, good deal for the. Ideal Boston player though, physical hitting player, dirty and cheap shot as hell.

Players Nikolaj Ehlers have been compared too by the fan base of the Vancouver Canucks.

1 Pavel Bure

2 Markus Naslund

3 Nathan Mackkinon

4 Jonathan Drouin.

5 Jonathan Tavares

combine results.  Ehlers 5'11 162 lbs of solid rock.

Pretty good deal. Thornton knows his job and does it well.

It's also pretty good compared to what guys like Rupp and Neil are making...

What is the deal with Mike Gillis, it always seems like he's sweating...

This means he makes over $150,000 for each of the 7 people he can fight at once.

So 1.1 Mil Gets you a 4th Liner, All he can do is hit, and Fight, And Run his mouth.

1 Million! for a Guy who can Fight and Hit, there's Probably People in Beer League that are Jealous of this guy. :bigblush:

I Wonder where this League is Going though when Tough Guys are Making 1 Mil, and Even Neil is Making around as much as Burrows.
