silverpig
Depends on your budget. How much are you looking to spend?

silverpig
You could get a suit custom tailored for you for that. It'd fit better than an off the rack one too. Or you could try out indochino.com
Navyblue
I bought one recently at Moores. Not bad...but try not to be racked in to buying more than you want by a commissioned salesman.
Stark
Moores is having a sale that ends tomorrow, I think!

memememe76
The Bay Downtown. At least that's where I get all my suits. Actually, go to Pacific Centre. They (or it's near the mall) have The Bay, Sears, Holt Renfrew, Harry Rosen, Moore's, Tip Top, Zara, H&M, Le Chateau, Dunn's and Banana Republic. There are a few small men's boutiques downtown but I'm too intimidated to go inside. There was a Brooks Brothers on Alberni, but I think that may have closed. YYC Canuck fan
Moores is always decent as long as you're of relatively average size.
SterlingArcher
I usually go to Holt Renfrew. Dolce & Gabana has some nice slim fit suits. Hugo Boss as someone mentioned above is generally more boxy on the shoulders. Depends what your looking for I guess, but Holt has a good collection and should be affordable if your considering Harry Rosen.

Drgnslyer
Moores is great, but if you're not in a rush wait until they have a 50% off sale. Within your price range you're definately in a position to check out custom tailored suits. There are so many tailorshops in Vancouver, I had my wedding suit made for me at balsam tailors in kerrisdale. I was very impressed with thier service and the quality of workmanship. All told I was about $450 out the door, but you can spend up to 800-1000 too, your choice depending on the fabric you want.
susraiders
Moores is good, but you can't be too big or small. I am 6 feet and 140 pounds and they only had 1 suit for me. I would recommend going to Pacific Center. They have a good variety of stores to go to.
