aliboy
Some experts said there wouldn't be much of an effect, as usual the experts were full of it!! http://blog.asrltd.c...-debris-mo.html
î мцšт вяздк чфµ
obviously there will be some sort of fallout, its not as if that crap just disappears. not surprised/shocked.
-Goose-
It'd probably ridiculously dilute at this point. The video makes it seems worse than it most probably is.
Denguin
Hawaii's f*cked! That stuff will be surrounding them entirely soon .
Buggernut
What are the odds that you'll get cancer or have deformed children from it anyways?
Carpe Diem
by just being alive you are exposing yourself to ionizing radiation. The key factor is how much.

Electro Rock
Radioactive water isn't particularily dangerous in of itself, I just wouldn't be eating too much seafood from that region. I'd be more worried about normal industrial pollutants than heavily diluted radioactive water who's radiation level has had a lot of time to decay. darkpoet
Ask these people. http://www.bbc.co.uk...acific-12117010 (Radiation poisoning) would never happen in Japan.
Buggernut
That thing was caught 2 months before the tsunami and consequent nuclear disaster. Somebody grab me the mayo!
darkpoet
I doubt it's quelled their appetite for tuna too much.
Navyblue
I don't even eat seafood because of not only radiation but everything else they've dumped in there over the years. So, it's diluted...doesn't change this guy's mind!
Buggernut
Of course not. They believe in their government when it tells them everything is fine. "No problem here. Everything is fine. We are cleaning up. Radiation levels are very low. Even if you took your family on a field trip into reactor 4, the worst you can expect is maybe a mild sunburn...." Meanwhile. You're growing a 3rd testicle. On your elbow. I'm sticking to farmer sausage.

KFBR392
I thought title said something about a radioactive sweater. I was much more excited about seeing a radioactive sweater floating into shore....
Electro Rock
There's being exposed to external radiation, and then there's actually ingesting radioactive material, the latter is usually a lot worse for you (and your decendents) even if the radioactivity level isn't that strong. If it is then you're really screwed.
silverpig
AFAIK that video is based on a computer model, not on any measurements.
