Comfortably_Numb
Marcus Foligno, 6G (1 GWG) 10P in 9GP Cody Hodgson, 3G (1 GWG) 6P in last 4 GP Alexander Sulzer, 1G 3P in 10 GP since joining Buffalo, playing on PK and playing between 15-20 minutes a night. Tyler Ennis, 2G 6P in the last 6GP with a +5. Corey Tropp, 1GWG 3P in last 4GP with 12 minutes of ice time. The entire team is on fire, it's great to see a team turn it around so well when almost everyone had them out of the playoff race.

ManUtd
Sulzer has been great for them but he's 27. Doesn't exactly fit with the other 4 who are all between 20 and 22.

Amish Rake Fighter
Did you even see his goals?
SabresFan
I did, against Montreal, one bounced off 3 sets of legs at the side of the net and the other was a 10 foot tap in to an empty net. Tonights was a PP empty net goal with one second left
Amish Rake Fighter
3 sets of legs?.. It was a wrap around that he banked off of price.. The second one was a one timer.. Either way, I don't get what your point is on how the goals looked or difficulty of them.. If its that easy, why hasn't kassian had a wrap around goal or 10' ft tap in, or EN.. They all count the same, don't blame the guy for burying chances..

SabresFan
Blah blah blah you asked if he saw the goals, I said I did. Nobody's blaming anybody for anything but you appear to be alternating between gloating and getting butthurt
Amish Rake Fighter
Why would I be 'butthurt'?.. We have a player that tripled the amount of pts of a guy we sent away in 3 games..And is playing more then 6 minutes a game.. All the while we have another youngster who came up and filled a role and exceeded expectations..
SabresFan
I thought this thread was about being "clutch" - sorry, but an empty netter and a fluke goal hardly rank as "clutch". Hodgson had a clutch goal in Boston for Vancouver - and people want to get carried away and define his entire career by that moment - but like most rookies, he still has a lot of work to do... The OP has the two former Canucks in the top three of his list of young "clutch" guys - it is a humorous and perhaps a littl passive aggressive, but most people know that the Sabres push to make the playoffs revolves around a lot of guys, and Hodgson is not yet one of them. But it is nice to see a team projected to win the Stanley Cup pulling themselves into a playoff spot and perhaps giving themselves a chance. Sugar baby watermelon
Ryan Miller is finally playing to his standards, yeesh about time too, he is greatly helping me in my fantasy hockey too. This team has upset team written all over it if they make the playoffs, thats a big if though.
EvoLu7ioN
How many big goals did Hodgson score in the playoffs for us last year? Clutch guys in the league like Crosby and Toews have the physical tools and advantages that allow them to simply overpower their opponents. Elite skating ability, strength on the puck, ability to score equally as well as defer making them unpredictable. Hodgson doesn't have those tools in his box. Avicii
Buffalo's youth will collapse in the playoffs. They'll most likely play the Rangers or Boston in the first round. Have fun with that. They probably want to secure 6th spot though, seems like the best playoff spot to be in below 4th.
