Deamon852 Posted March 27, 2012 Share Posted March 27, 2012 I wouldn't even mind if we lost this game. I know the whole 'be careful what you wish for' thing, but I like the 2nd seed. Still home ice all throughout if St. Louis loses, and a first round matchup vs perhaps Phoenix (a lot can change), rather then maybe a surging team getting that last spot. Also higher expectations as a 1 seed/presidents trophy winner. I'd also not mind L.A. in the playoffs rather then Calgary (living in Calgary, a matchup with the flames would be torture and I'd love them to miss the playoffs). And also if the top 4 seeds win round 1, gives us a round two matchup vs a Dallas/L.A. type rather then Detroit/Nashville. I like this 2 seed spot!
