-DLC-
Mary Kay Latourneau says it doesn't matter - male or female. Horrible. We had a teacher in high school who hit on a few of us...ended up dating an acquaintance. Was a very strange situation for sure.

NucksPatsFan
Honestly, I don't feel bad for the girls at all. No where did it say that he forced these girls into doing this, nor did he threaten them. These normal, capable, aware girls knew what they were doing and what the consequences could be and still decided to partake in sexual activities with this guy for better marks. Girls get crushes on teachers all the time. On a recent episode of TMZ some band called One Direction flew to LAX and these 15, 16, 17 year old girls were screaming "have sex with me!" infront of the cameras. These girls are dumb and stupid and get no sympathy from me. They were willing to have sex with this guy while the option of turning away and going home/reporting to an authority was there the whole time. If I'm a 16 year old boy and i'm attracted to my teacher and she says hey meet me here after 2pm for a little fun if you know what i mean and I'll give you an A on your next test, and I go there at 2pm and have a little fun, I would not expect people to feel bad for me. That's What She Said
Clicked this thread half expecting to see the name of my high school science teacher, who would raise girls' grades if they showed up dressed really slutty and begged him to. Never went so far as to have sex with any of them as far as I know but he did grope one. For whatever reason we didn't really care much back then, we even constantly joked about it, but now I wish we'd kicked up more of a fuss about it. DoItForRaymond
How can anyone be surprised? There's so many commercials that are so sexualized(a frickin IKEA ad for a counter top? Like really?), it's rather disgusting that the human race is becoming this way
Bruce Boudreau
Always amazes me that these pervs turn out to be the people you think are just normal. Just shows you never know for sure who is a perv and who isn't these days. I blame how hyper-sexual society is becoming these days thanks to making young girls look older than their age and making them seem sexually available for men in ads everywhere. Society is basically encouraging pedophilia with the daily messages in the media. Not to mention porn is a big part of the problem. If a guy thinks a girl who is 18 is fair game what's to say he is not attracted to girls younger than that? Can't say I'm surprised though. Mr. Ambien
Side note: It would be interesting to see what the age is of all those who added a + to this post. And I'm betting they're not fathers of a daughter. "Normal"? "Capable" "Aware"? "Girls"? Are you a mind reader now? Were you there as part of the process, what? Because you deciding you know what these girls were thinking, what kind of a position they were put in is offensive to me. You WEREN'T there, you don't have even a smidgen of an idea what was going on so how dare you give the impression you know what was going through these girls' heads. This teacher abused his position of authority, plain and simple. He was having sex with underaged girl and finally got caught. Hallelujah!!! And not surprisingly, your second paragraph just sums it all up about your character. Playing the "I'm a guy and I'd react such and such a way so therefore anyone who doesn't react MY way must be in the wrong" isn't unexpected in the slightest. It was predictable as hell. Ohhhh, the double standard is alive and well in some. I'm willing to bet that you are going to feel very differently about this one day, perhaps when your daughter is taken advantage of in such a manner...........or your sister. I'm sure you'll be outraged as all get out if/when that ever happened to someone you care about.
