Its a hell of a lot closer to everything than UBC could ever hope for. Its a 5 minute drive from downtown/inner harbour. I was there a long time ago (graded in 94 so 20 years) and spent the last 2 years on campus. I agree I don't know what he means by isolated. That whole area is transforming every year, and the transit system is one of best on the island if not in all of BC. I also like how its close to DT whereas UBC is basically near the edge of Vancouver. Its not like the campus is located somewhere far like Sidney or Sooke.
