There are of course some fans that are absolute great nuck fans and then there are others. I would like to mention to the people saying the fans arent anything and that its the team that deserves it. Reality is the fans came before the team did and without them there would be no team (See Atlanta Phoenix). Most are great passionate fans who absolutely love their team. Sometimes you just have to be happy with where you are (1st) and support the team good times AND BAD. If you were the owners and complained about their performance then by all means. You can say it goes to their salary but it's a small percentage just like the dinner is going to a small percentage of her life cost so does she now owe you something? Whether They or anyone like it or not,They are in the Entertainment Business,and are paid Handsomely for it Another alternative,is to play like the rest of us hacks,who love playing the game,and are willing to get up early or stay up late and PAY to play it Thats just part of the Price for being in the Entertainment Business and becoming an Instant Milionaire in 1 season. The fans that watch games or even follow them. Those people that get really passionate and want their team to win. However, people who are booing, or swearing acting like they know stuff don't deservre it. I think those fans that really like the sport and the team no matter what deserve it. Even when they lose, of course there is sadness at first, but you think great try, great effort. So The "Fans" deserve it! And the Canucks organization definitely deserve it!! You decide to buy a ticket to see a game or to buy swag because you choose to. You have no right to make demands on them as you would a company you have a service contract with. That's the problem here. People fail to see that simple truth. If you go to see a movie and it sucks, you don't get your money back. You paid to see it. It sucked. You deal, maybe write a bad review online. Sane people, however, do not go to the lead actor's work place and "boo" him, claiming your single movie ticket pays his salary and you demand better as his "employer." Remember: No one has to spend a penny. You can watch the games on TV for free. You don't have to buy jerseys or swag. You can even visit the forum to cheer or jeer for free. I didn't say "other cities have rioted and won championships therefore we deserve one." But I don't think any fans 'deserve' a championship.
