Johnny Debt
I came for the lolz and they delivered, highlighted by this gem: However, I believe in God because I believe that to be the most rational belief. If I didn't think belief in God was a rational belief, I would naturally no longer believe in him. Pretty simple?
Buddhas Hand
What does separation of church and state mean to you as it pertains to the United States ?
Mr. Ambien
You consider being handed a book brainwashing? My god, nobody is safe...
Satan's Evil Twin
I didn't read anything about students handing out bibles, I read about Gideon International doing it. Huh, must be reading a French version. We both know this kind of crap lasts as long as Korans or Satanic Bibles are not the holy book being handed out. And you also make it seem like kids can't talk about their religion - I'm pretty sure freedom of religion is still applicable to kids here. What was that word you defined earlier? Misconstrue? Yeah, don't do that. And yeah, xenophobic Christians are totally something to laugh about.
Mr. Ambien
A straw man is a straw man is a straw man is a straw man. You're my favorite atheist who doesn't understand he's an atheist.
Satan's Evil Twin
Yep and according to my Christian family I'm a Christian who has just been led astray. Religion is religion is religion. (Agnostic) The sooner you figure out you're not as smart as you think you are, the better off you'll be.
Mr. Ambien
Your family also thinks Jesus died to save you from an inherited sin, so there's that. I wouldn't put much faith into what they have to say. A dictionary on the other hand serves as a good standard for effective communication with adults. I can see why you went to business school, it's the same reason I dropped out of business school. You know, people keep telling me on this forum how stupid I am (just refer to my sig for an example). Primal Optimist
Atheism in it's own way is just another religion. You have the basic religions and atheism and all the activists seem to dedicate a lot of time and effort into spreading the word of their beliefs on everyone else while bashing the others views, it's really all the same.
