The defending "Champions" taken out by probably the weakest team in the playoffs - thing of beauty.

seeing all these top teams getting eliminated just makes the canucks' loss worse...if we had beat the kings we could have beaten any of the teams now remaining for sure

So weak they battled to game 7? Come on... how are they any "weaker" than Ottawa or Florida.

Now all the ridiculous folks come out.

On the flip side though, with all the powerhouses gone home early if Canucks had advanced....

Nah, there's no point. I have to stop thinking "What if..." 'cause it only makes me hurt more.

Thought Boston would take this one. Caps have been mediocre all year. But Boston has been weak since their game against us. (Conversely, so have the Canucks. It's like one game killed two teams. Strange.)

Glad their out. F 'em. Cheers.

Anything can happen in OT, especially in Game 7! I'd very much welcome it and hope someone like Hendricks sticks the dagger in the Bruins heart. Or Joel Ward.

For sure? Another arrogant fan. Were you the same one who a month ago said how Canucks could beat ANYONE for sure? And that Kings were a walk in the park? Yeah makes a lot of sense that if they can't generate offense against Quick they will definitely generate it against Smith, Elliot, and Rinne.

You are one bright shining star, for sure.

amazing series. every game a one goal game. caps might have been mediocre during the year, but they definitely found another gear in the playoffs. bruins played a good series too, holtby just stoned them.

Now Thomas has all summer to post on facebook how the Bruins loss was a government orchestrated conspiracy initiated by Obama.
