I think it was just a real shot to our realization that we can lose last night which is making a lot of folk go a bit haywire. I think everyone was/is just expecting a rolling. If they don't win Friday and stink the place out again, this team will have to make major personel changes in the off season . It's in their hands no matter what LA does. poetica Posted April 12, 2012 Share Posted April 12, 2012 I'm not panicking. I'm just a little peeved (which I'm pretty sure is one of 2 common emotions among all hockey fans). I still believe in our team. And know that LA still needed a lucky bounce to beat a team that had been shorthanded for more than half a period! Hopefully our boys come back more disciplined and twice as determined for the rest of the series. Remember, it doesn't matter who wins the first game of a series, only who wins the last. That worked really well for us so I don't see why he's giving Mason "I can't stand on my feet" Raymond his spot. Just my two cents, though. I mean two of their goals came on an extended 5-on-3 and a major so as long as we stay out of the box we can compete (heck with all those penalties we still managed to stay in the game). forevernucks19 Posted April 12, 2012 Share Posted April 12, 2012 Guys it is obvious why we should all be mad, and thats because the underdog took us out in the first game of the series on home ice. I just want to let everyone know that we are a two time presidents trophy winner in the last two years and I highly doubt we will get eliminated. Every time a team loses its normal for fans to blame someone. Lets not forget that the bruins were down two games to none both against MTL and us, and they still won last year. Now I am really anxious for a win so I hope we turn this series around fast but lets keep in mind its a best out of 7 series and not best out of 3. We have the players to win a cup of course it will help so much when sedin and ballard get back but we are playing with out them and we know we can win games without them, however everyone must show up to do so. Last game Kesler got blamed a bit by the fans but he also did have two assists. If I recall Gillies did aquire Kassian and Pahlsson on deadline.Kassian will be ready next year and I hope Pahlsson picks up his game like he is supposed to at this time of the year. Intresting enough I beleive Vigneault should look where chemistry is best. There are many diffrent line combos you can do. Look at the flyers. Crazy lines would look like this when healthy Sedin-Sedin-Hansen Raymond-Kesler-Booth Burrows-Lapierre-Higgins Pahlsson-Manny-Weise What the real lines should be though Sedin-Sedin-Burrows Higgins-Kesler-Booth Lapiere-Pahlsson-Hansen Weise-Manny-Bitz Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Officiating was a huge turning point in that game. Toews is playing tonight and he should not be . Zetterberg's helmet is cracked after the Weber hit.He is having head aches.No disciplinary action. I know, the Kings winning game 1 acted like they already advanced onto the 2nd round will be suprised at how long and intense this series will be.
