Personally Quick does scare me a bit and our boys would have came out similar to round one last year, get some big hits and get right in the game. the whole Keith/Daniel situation would have made them mad and the Nucks play well when they have a little emotion invested.

So would you rather be facing the Hawks rather then the Kings?

No. The Canucks can beat any team in this league. They need to stop taking crap penalties and start playing the freakin' game.

'Nuff said.

Agreed. Besides, we'll probably end up facing them if we make it further anyways!

With Kesler playing like he is, I really don't want Toews on the other team.

I think Quick showed last game that he IS beatable, we just didn't capitalize.

Game 2, we will have learned from our mistakes, and we will take it.

Quick got hit and we got a lucky goal. The second goal was a fluke/weird play. We have not beat him clean yet. Sorry but it's
true.

no. Luongo just doesn't play consistently well when we face Chicago. The only reason we were in the game last night was because of Luongo. We would have lost to any team in the league with our poor performance last night. We just need to improve our play for game 2

Yes! Coyotes won just as I Predicted!!

But Yeah I think Quick is Beatable and like I've been saying for Weeks, I didn't think we would be able to flip the Switch and Play Amazingly better in the First game of the Playoffs (Except Lu), and We didn't, I thought the First game we would play the Same way and then learn from that and Play the Way we can.

I think we will get back to the Way we know how to play and be the Best Team on the Ice Tommorow.

don't care - would be satisfying to beat Chicago again, but the Kings are stepping up as a formidable annoyance - no matter who you face in the West, you have to bring your A+ game.

No it's okay, we'll just face them in round 2 and bury them.

Yes, I would rather. But only because LA is my second favourite team in the league, and I hate that we must eliminate them in round 1.

We won't face them if Phoenix or San Jose move on. Both seem fairly likely.

WTF?

A goal is a goal. Edler's goal was a deflection. Shoot the puck on net, and good things will happen. It's a pretty standard hockey play. They scored two PP goals and an empty net. So, by your logic, only one of their goals counts?

Canucks played like crap, and still had it at 2-2 with minutes left. They will come out with a lot more intensity tomorrow. And to answer your initial question, I'd rather focus on the task at hand than worry about irrelevant hypothetical situations.

To each their own I guess.

The way we played last night, we probably would have lost anyways. We can still easily beat LA, or any team for that matter. But the Canucks have to learn from their mistakes.

Na...First choice is of course the Coyotes, but then it is the Kings.
We are lucky we don't have to play the Sharks or Hawks in the first round.......

Nah, something about the Blackhawks really shakes up this whole team, especially Luongo.

However, I would prefer anybody but Boston. The core of the rosters haven't changed much from last year and I doubt we could win if there was another SCF against Boston.

If there is one team you DON'T want to face right now (or at all) is the Blackhawks. I'm only speaking of the 'Nucks. If a team plays the 'Nucks physical, that is a big key to beating them. Chicago and St. Louis (IMO) could really give the 'Nucks more than they want because of their ability to play physical.

Stick with the Kings... I still think they ('Nucks) will advance even if they lose game 2.

I'd rather the Blackhawks. Better matchup, and it would be more entertaining to watch (though I do think this series is going to be a good one).
