stuffradio
Raymond wasn't even the worst player in the game.
enterin
He's fast, and can steal pucks, too bad he has horrible plays/passes/shots in general.

brob89
This certainly is an over-discussed topic. In addition to that, when we do discuss it, we are far to often spewing vitriol rather than giving an honest assessment of Raymond and his skillset. What Raymond clearly does not possess: The talent and creativity to play on our top line and the strength to go to the dirty areas. What he clearly does possess: Speed, enough defensive tenacity to be useful on the PK, and decent pair of hands (A complement that he surely deserves if we are so willing to attribute the same complement to Kassian's hands). On Wednesday night, Raymond was not effective on the top line. Ebbet seems to be the more attractive option. Make it happen, AV. Ebbet-Sedin-Burrows Amex Lapierre-Pahlsson-Hansen Raymond-Manny-Kassian Fin.
kmotamed
I think we should put the OP on the 1st line, and see how THAT goes... =P

pwnstar
He didn't break his back for us, he just broke his back, there was no conversation: AV: Raymond we need you to break your back for us! MayRay: Yes Sir! Never happened.
Bodee
We are never going to win a series with Raymond on a top line .He brings nothing ,zero toughness ,skates fast ,but often in circles & usually ends up on the ground.Geez i hope we get rid of him soon.... FanInCalgary
He probably will either be dealt at the draft or not re-signed. Hopefully somebody like Kassian can step in and fill a top 6 role because if there is one line that is actually working it is our third line and I don't see it getting split up any time soon. Or lappy could play with Kesler and Booth, it worked for a few games?

Eagle Eye
Raymond was one of the best forwards in Game # 1 vs the kings. Check his stats. For a guy that played limited ice time he was great. He will continue to play well no matter which line he is on. Can he replace Daniel Sedin. NO!!! Nobody can or will.
TotesMagotes
raymond needs to be on the third line at best... if daniel doesn't come back right away... lappy hank burr higgy kes booth hansen paully raymond? 4th line the best chemistry on the second line has been the amex no question. why we arent seeing higgins on it is beyond me? kes and booth need a playmaker like higgy or else they will not produce. he is so good at getting the puck, keeping the puck and dishing the puck. common AV!!!!!!! Jeebus Loves You
As much as I hate Raymond on our top line, he's not a bad player. He just doesn't fit well with the holes we need to fill. Now if we had a hole that you could only fill by falling down into it, then we'd be in business...
CodyHodgson's #1fan
are you freaking kidding me? besides Luu of course saving us for most of the game, all our forwards were slaking but raymond was playing very well and stood out in that positive way. You raymond haters need to actually watch teh games and try to not focus on ever single negative.
bluesman60
Raymond has to step it up a notch but so do a lot of others on this team. Edler....he was brutal against LA. Kesler and Booth.....the 2nd line has to start producing some offence. And finally, the team has to start skating and stop taking stupid penalties because they are caught standing still. I think that you are out of line with your Raymond comments. We will win tonight and all will be forgiven by the CDC ers.
