low scoring mind set fails so much....

Newell Brown can't get the powerplay to work = Fail

Rick Bowness can't get the D pairings right and they continue to meltdown = Fail

AV mixes lines and can't get the team to produce offensively = Fail

GM MG is on the borderline of Fail this year. trader away future franchise player for two pluggers who are no use in playoff at all. And Booth is an expensive useless so called "power forward"

If we lose to LA, AV will be gone, let 's see.

In the first 3 games, the whole team played like crap. no goals in a dozen pp opportunities.

outworked in every department.

I really hope we can pass LA.

Otherwise, byebye AV.

You don't fire a coach as successful as AV. Simple as that, there are other circumstances involved here that the OP obviously doesn't understand. A TEAM can not play up to par sometimes. The TEAM (combined individuals that can make choices independent of AV) is on the ice. Do you expect AV to throw some skates on and do everything himself. The team as a whole didn't play the way they were coached to all year. The way they are coached has won them the Presidents trophy 2 years in a row. And guess what? They'll likely be in the top 5, at least, next year too. Gillis would be torn a new one if he hired another coach and they weren't as good as AV. You think Gillis would take that chance?

With that way of thinking, 29 coaches would be fired every season. Give your head a shake and look at the big picture.
