Are you f**king kidding me?

Seriously, time to let last year's final go and LIVE IN THE PRESENT. Luongo's past performances has nothing to do with this series. Stop holding a grudge and stay objective.

You think changing to Schneider is just gonna make the team better? You think they will turn this series around with Schneider in goal? If so, THEN YOU HAVEN*T EVEN SEEN THESE PAST TWO GAMES.

This fanbase is a joke and Vancouver deserve all the hate they get when you act like this.

Pathetic. How can you live with yourself?

Agree 100% OP.

Lu is playing some of his best playoff hockey, the rest of the team needs to show up.

I don't think anyone is gonna even hint to blaming Luongo for these past 2 losses.

Agreed that Lu has been the consistent player the past 2 games. He has been on top of his game but sadly the team is barely giving him anything to work with. He can only do so much.
I do think AV will play Schneider in the net next game which I am iffy with cause Lu has been great and what message do you send him when its like "hey you are doing great but we are going to pull you anyway." But the honest truth is that the rest of the team is not on their game and maybe putting schneids in will change the momentum or something. At this point we need something to change.
But I think you went a little over board with calling all the fans pathetic and asking them how they live with themselves.

I love Luongo and support him but he has yet to play his best hockey! He can be better and has proven to up his game at times. It's one of those times he needs to steal us one, sure he has played good but he can still up his game more! They all can.

I'm a die hard RL1 fan and feel that he's been our best player so far. I get that he's allowed 7 goals in 2 games, but he's made huge saves and given the team a chance to win. In game 2, he was holding us in, but perimeter shots on Jonathan Quick creates a false sense of "we outplayed them because we outshot them 48-27." Vancouver had more shots, but LA had waaay more scoring chances. Turnovers aside, at some point, the defense has gotta clear away the puck after RL1 makes a save. I wouldn't be surprised to see CS35 start game 3, and wouldn't mind it. It might be the spark they need. But it's SCP... Get motivated damnit!

I bet when Schneider turns 38, he will have broken all of Luongo's records.

Lou has been fine. Nothing wrong with a bit of a shake up and putting in Schneider tho.

Bobby Lou has been the best player on the ice. The team has left him huge out to dry by coughing up the put in their end. Stop the drop pass on the powerplay and carry the puck with speed or dump and chase. The kings are all standing at the blueline waiting for the drop.

Luongo has been great so far, but when he's playing that well and not getting wins, what does that do for his confidence? Putting Schneider in for Game 3 might be what the team needs to wake up, but that won't do anything for Lu's confidence either.

it's a lot easier to cope by imagining the goaltender sucks, then to acknowledge there's something completely wrong with the team as a whole.

The team's been playing like this basically since January. Lou and Cory had stolen games, keeping us in the PT hunt but when they stopped stealing games, we went like 2-5 or something like that. Same problems as before. Gotta separate Booth and Kesler.Booth Sedin Kassian top line please. Just try it and see what happens.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Straw_man

A straw man is a component of an argument and is an informal fallacy based on misrepresentation of an opponent's position.[1] To "attack a straw man" is to create the illusion of having refuted a proposition by replacing it with a superficially similar yet unequivalent proposition (the "straw man"), and refuting it, without ever having actually refuted the original position.

Hey I should start a thread called: "People That Blame This On Linden" And then get all in a huff about it because...like....he wasn't even playing....and...and...JUST STOP IT OK!!!!!!?

Only a moron would be blaming Luongo for either of these losses. He's done everything possible to try and give this team a chance to win. One of , if not our best player. Unfortunately he's being left out to dry by this team. Guess this team wasn't "coasting" afterall. Having said that they have to go with Schneids in the next game. For whatever reason they seem to play harder in front of him. It's not fair to Luongo but that's the way it's been

Nope not blaming Lu but I do think we should put in Schnieds to see if we can turn this around.

Lu makes unreal saves, but he lets weak ones in. This is the playoffs, can't let weak ones in.

RIP to the BEST pound for pound fighter the NHL has ever seen. Will be missed.

Lu is not the problem but he has been playing average period. Sorry folks he let in two shorthanded and basically two powerplay goals. When he's on he would of stopped them. He is a bit off but Sneids needs toi go in he's chomping at the bit.Afterall he has a better save percemtage and the need those extra couple saves. The biggest problem is AV coaching. Predictable as seen by how the kings have countered and no ability to come up with creative plays its just the sameold sameold and the teams just have to watch game footage to know what the Canucks will do.So yes Sneids in just to mix it up.

Yes, completely agree, there have been week goals.
In game one the Richards goal was week, to say the least.

In game two the goal that snuck buy him at the side of the net was weak and he looked horrible on the last goal.

Right now we need an outstanding goaltending performance, and it isn't coming from Luongo.

So what are you going to say if the team "suddenly" puts the boots on after Schneider takes over in game 3?

I alluded to this in another thread.

The team looks completely disinterested. Almost to the point where you wonder if they are crapping the bed on purpose because they know they can't win with Luongo in net.

Like I said, we're going to find out Sunday.

Schneider WILL start, and if this team lays LA out in game 3 we are going to have our answer.

Put it this way, if I'm wrong, this team is done.

Go Canucks!!!

Exactly, not that I am agreeing with this, but if teh canucks need a change they might think about putting cory in just to chnage things up.

But, I am not hating on Lu he has beeen our best player this series and is playing awesome, he needs to keep this up for when tehg rest of the team decides to WAKE UP!
Always will love and support Cody Hodgson, great player, great potential great character, and I don't care about those stupid rumours about the trade. And we lost him, what a dissapointment. Love you COHO, forever a canuck in my heart!

One day Luongo will raise Lord Stanley's cup.
And show all those haters that he is the amazing goalie that he is.
No matter what jersey he wears, I will always be cheering for Luongo.

Forever Believe.

pretty easy living with myself, its just hard for others to live with me.

1 st goal in game 1 , 5 hole from the goal line, that is a goal Luo gives up but shouldn't.
Brown's breakaway, is a goal Lou give up but other hot goalies don't.

Lou might be the best player on the Canucks but he is not the best player or goalie in this series

Lou is a spazz and it affects the team. When Raymond hit him in warm-up and when Tanev hit him he goes nuts. After the 1st goal last night you could see how pissed he was coming off the ice. That does not instill confidence in a team seeing their goalie flopping around like a beached whale and losing his focus.
Lou cant react fast enough in game situations. The 3rd goal he couldn't get in position soon enough, and the last goal he just laid on the ice and never got up quick enough to give himself a chance. Watch Quick or Schneider when there is traffic in front of them, they go down low and try and find the puck through players legs, on the Mitchell goal in game one there were 2 players in front of Luongo and he was just standing there with his face right in the players back, and Lou is a butterfly goalie and should of been down low because is a lot easier to see through legs than it is a body.
To those who always say all our chances are from the outside need to give their head a shake because is the same tune as Boston and is a load of crap. Kesler walked through 1/2 the team more than once yesterday and had as glden of scoring chance as you can get, but instead of talking about that it is forgotten because the job of an elite goalie is to make up for mistakes.
In the 3rd with 10 minutes left and down 3-1 and needing a lift badlt there was a scuffle in the L.A end and quick was grabbing Canuck players, and I bet Schneider would have went down and stuck up for his players just to try and help motivate the team.

IMHO, Luongo is the only player on this team that has shown any heart.

Thinking back on his choice to come here, I feel sorry for him.
I'm 99% certain that if he went to the Habs - he would have won a cup by now.

This team needs players like Penner, Brown, Weber, Keith (yes Keith), etc...players who stand up for themselves...players with heart.

McCoy: We were speculating. Is God really out there?
Kirk: Maybe he's not out there, Bones. Maybe he's right here. [points to his heart]
