People That Blame This On Luongo

Lu is not the problem but he has been playing average period. Sorry folks he let in two shorthanded and basically two powerplay goals. When he's on he would of stopped them. He is a bit off but Sneids needs toi go in he's chomping at the bit.Afterall he has a better save percemtage and the need those extra couple saves. The biggest problem is AV coaching. Predictable as seen by how the kings have countered and no ability to come up with creative plays its just the sameold sameold and the teams just have to watch game footage to know what the Canucks will do.So yes Sneids in just to mix it up.

Yes, completely agree, there have been week goals.

In game one the Richards goal was week, to say the least.

In game two the goal that snuck buy him at the side of the net was weak and he looked horrible on the last goal.

Right now we need an outstanding goaltending performance, and it isn't coming from Luongo.

Are you f**king kidding me?

Seriously, time to let last year's final go and LIVE IN THE PRESENT. Luongo's past performances has nothing to do with this series. Stop holding a grudge and stay objective.

You think changing to Schneider is just gonna make the team better? You think they will turn this series around with Schneider in goal? If so, THEN YOU HAVEN*T EVEN SEEN THESE PAST TWO GAMES.

This fanbase is a joke and Vancouver deserve all the hate they get when you act like this.

Pathetic. How can you live with yourself?

Lou is a spazz and it affects the team. When Raymond hit him in warm-up and when Tanev hit him he goes nuts. After the 1st goal last night you could see how pissed he was coming off the ice. That does not instill confidence in a team seeing their goalie flopping around like a beached whale and losing his focus.

Lou cant react fast enough in game situations. The 3rd goal he couldn't get in position soon enough, and the last goal he just laid on the ice and never got up quick enough to give himself a chance. Watch Quick or Schneider when there is traffic in front of them, they go down low and try and find the puck through players legs, on the Mitchell goal in game one there were 2 players in front of Luongo and he was just standing there with his face right in the players back, and Lou is a butterfly goalie and should of been down low because is a lot easier to see through legs than it is a body.

To those who always say all our chances are from the outside need to give their head a shake because is the same tune as Boston and is a load of crap. Kesler walked through 1/2 the team more than once yesterday and had as glden of scoring chance as you can get, but instead of talking about that it is forgotten because the job of an elite goalie is to make up for mistakes.

In the 3rd with 10 minutes left and down 3-1 and needing a lift badlt there was a scuffle in the L.A end and quick was grabbing Canuck players, and I bet Schneider would have went down and stuck up for his players just to try and help motivate the team.

IMHO, Luongo is the only player on this team that has shown any heart.

Thinking back on his choice to come here, I feel sorry for him.

I'm 99% certain that if he went to the Habs - he would have won a cup by now.

This team needs players like Penner, Brown, Weber, Keith (yes Keith), etc...players who stand up for themselves...players with heart.

Lol,,Bet you said same thing last year when TT outplayed Lou by a horrendous margin, same as when Crawford was much better as well.

Must make you sleep at night to think Lou and his 3.59 GAA and save % of .891 is actually outplaying Quick and his GAA of 2 and save% of .946, and how we got almost twice as many shots and gave up twice as many goals but because all our chances were lame and they had a whopping 26 shots and scored 4 times, and only Lou could of have kept us in there with his gawdy .846 save %.

Lou gets outplayed by a wide margin in the playoffs very often for an "elite" goalie.

Looks to be his 4th year in a row where his playoff numbers will be dramatically worse than his regular season numbers.

Elite goalies step up,,Lou steps down come playoff time.

luongo is not the reason they lost but he has to come up with the big stops. He has made some big saves these two games but at the NHL level you as a goalie you must be making those big saves. People try to look at the goals he gave up try to see which ones were his fault. In my opinion the standard shouldn't be which goals he gave up are acceptable, but rather whether he can make those huge saves above and beyond the ones that an average NHL has to make. luongo has made some big saves, but he has to go above and beyond to warrant staying in net. I don't think he does, as his backup has a .940 and appears to be unrattled in big games.

People say the games won't even be close if it wasn't for Luongo. I highly doubt this is the case. If Schnieder was in net, I think he is capable of playing just as well if not better, minus the 1 weak goal a game.

Finally, Luongo is the best Canuck this series, but partly because the whole team hasn't played well. He definitely isn't the best player on the ice.

Ok call a spade a spade...Luongo sucked...was pathetic on last 2 goals and got beat like a rented mule on breakaway !! Had he not choked on last 2 goals we are tied 2-2 with a chance to win....Luongo lovers are blinded by devotion to their hero. His stats are not good in playoffs and his stats during season did not support such devotion...you are like rats going down with the Titanic !! Get out your golf clubs...because unless Schneider can stop the bleeding...its going to be a long summer.... bye bye Lou !!!
