crosbyheadshot Posted April 14, 2012 Share Posted April 14, 2012 Winning all those games at the end of the regular season and winning the presidents trophy was nice and all but We only played one playoff team through that streak. Funny enough that team was LA. Our division was so weak this year that playing all those games vs the NW at the end of the season has seemed to have us playing some boring and very average at best hockey. The pacific division was such a dog fight for the last chunk of the season that LA has been in playoff mode for a few weeks now and it's proving to be a huge advantage. It seems being in a weak division will get you a playoff position but doesn't prep you properly for games with intensity. Here's to hoping our boys wake the F up and realize we arent playing Colorado or Edmonton. Let's see some of that hockey that we all know they are capable of playing. When your playing against crap teams with no intensity for 2 weeks straight and your opponent has been playing full on intense playoff style hockey for 2 weeks who do you think has the advantage... If you say the canucks then you have never played any sports besides NHL hockey on you computer or laptop.
