One game at a time, does no good to predict a comeback or what will happen if we lose. Game 3 should be what everyone is focused on

We haven't lost anything yet.

Ya we have, the first two games....... Not gonna lie, I've got a mild case of anxiety.

You left out their vezina caliber goaltender...

However, you will have to explain this to AV who will be interviewing for the Montreal job should we lose to LA

Agree...AV will get canned if Vancouver bows out in the first round. From his handling of CH to his incescent line juggling, MG will have no other option but to cut ties to place the blame somewhere besides on his players or himself. AV will be coaching in Montreal next year unless we make it back to the finals.

I'm not ready to give up on these guys quite yet. Am I surprised at how uninterested the team has played? Uh...hells ya. Confused, baffled, angry, fustrated...The blame really falls on the players though. Lets make this clear. This is the same core group of players that have been together for many years now, made it to the Stanley Cup finals last year, and won two President titles in two years. If they flunk out of it early this year, it won't be because of the coach, the fans, the system, the line juggling, ice conditions, sasquatch sightings in the upper deck, viral staph infections in the locker room, or who is playing in net. Would love to see Schneider in net, but Luongo has been playing very good in the two we lost.

Wake the fk up please Canucks. Your crazed fans are waiting for you guys to begin the series.

~Gives up too~

"Oh hell...why bother? This is the Canucks..." (tongue firmly planted in cheek)

There's always shame in losing... Only losers say there isn't.

LA is a great team. They are not a prototypical 8th seed team.
LA lost 1-0 8 times this season
LA lost 2-1 9times this season

If they were able to score a few more goals, they would easily be a 100+ point team, good for a top seed in the West.

They have Kopitar, one of the most unselfish players in the league. Under Sutter's system, he was only able to produce 70+ points. In a more free environment, he can easily be a 90+ point player.

They struggled out of the gate with the Doughty cloud hanging over their heads.

In conclusion, I want to say that if the Canucks lose, there should be no shame. LA is an elite team and is well deserving of a shot of the cup.

they basically lost the type of games van won those real close 1 goal games we did the same last year..
they are a great team and even better since the coaching change..
but just for the sake of the sanity of our boys and the Media assault that would ensue please win ..

Guess we can sleep easy now, huh?

No, the Canucks are a team that was built for a single purpose. Win the cup. Losing at the last second last year was a failure. Losing in the first round will be an epic failure and heads had better roll.

LA isn't even that good, we made them look good. Watch LA get blown out of round two.

I was saying Lu-Urns...

There would be a huge amount of shame if we lost. It's the first series after losing the cup, it would be a total embarrassment if we lost.

of course there is. we were supposed to go all the way...a first round exit would be a disgrace and it would just prove all the haters right.
