I bet LA is praying that Luongo starts in goal. They have had their way with him and have no fear with him in goal...Schneider may get them thinking !!

Booth and Kesler have never really worked together so why do they keep putting them on the same line. Put Booth up with Sedin and drop Hansen down with Kesler. Hansen is a good passer and he retrieves pucks, as does Higgins. That is the type of line mate Kesler needs ie Samuelson (sp?).

KASSIAN - H. SEDIN - BOOTH
BURROWS - KESLER - LAPIERRE
HIGGINS - PAHLSSON - HANSEN
RAYMOND - MALHOLTRA - BITZ

HAMHUIS - BIEKSA
SALO - EDLER
TANEV - BALLARD
ROME

SCHNEIDER
Luongo

And have two three meetings with Shanahan by the end of the week.

It's just how it's going to be this year (NYR-OTT)

Kassian was brought in to have a physical presence. Whether he's ready or not becomes relavent if he's teamed with the best center in the league. Let him make his presence felt. He has to be unleashed. Byfuglien was not the player he is until the Chicago Cup; it made him. So let him loose. I liked his first game one late hit. He was in the process of adjusting his game for the rest of the playoffs. Using him on the fourth line and the bench is NOT the way to go. He alone could occupy two L.A. players at a time if not three around the net, thereby freeing our boys to do their thing in the offensive zone.

As for Luongo, something was spread around the league that makes him very vulnerable. No clue what it is, but it has never been the same since Chicago. And keep him out of the media.

Schneider has a Roy quality to him and we as fans might eventually be thankful that Hodgson was traded and not Schneids. I hope he starts game three and goes lights out. Then again, it has been a goaltending tandem in Vancouver and so it ought to remain as such.

The Canucks need to play hockey, be as nasty as they can be and make life hell for the opposition. Take them out of the game one by one. Let L.A.'s player fall like flies. We saw it was going to be that way early in game one and then the third team on thw ice got in Vancouver's players' heads and they let off and started not so much diving as trying to do the refs' job; play PLAYOFF HOCKEY.

Fights and death checks. Let the league know we won't go down without a serious bloody fight. And the begging for penalties MUST stop.

Put Cory in net, it's not like Luongo has played bad or anything, it's just that this team is in need of a shake-up.
My 2014 Draft wishlist: 1st rd: Draisaitl, Virtanen, Scherbak. 2nd rd: Brendan Lemieux, Thatcher Demko (Goalie)

I have a feeling Schneider will get the call in net, not hating on Luongo but it could create a spark in the team and that's exactly what we need right now. Maybe AV doesn't want to address the starting goalie yet in case the media hounds Schneider.

i want to see marc andre gragnani!!! the kid is a playoff performer

The guy is a huge defensive liability... We're looking to stop the give aways, not give more away. You won't see him in the playoffs.

Don't like those lines... pretty sure those were from last game

Lines should be :

Burrows-Sedin-Lapierre
Higgins-Kesler-Booth
Raymond-Pahlsson-Hansen
Weiss-Malholtra-Kassian

Hamhuis-Bieksa
Edler-Salo
Alberts-Ballard

The burr hank and lappy top line was the most effective when they were together, very frustrated that AV split them up. Raymond is a 3rd liner at best right now. Ebbett is too small for this series and i think Weiss has earned his chance to play as a bigger body who can hit and make plays. Tanev hasn't impressed me either, tell him to add another 15 lbs of muscle in the offseason and try again. I like Alberts for this series, he's big and can toss people away from the front of the net and make the big hit when he needs to. Plus his defensive play has gotten better so i'm not as nervous when hes on the ice anymore.
Powerplay Lines:
Burrows-Sedin-Kesler
Edler-Salo

Higgins-Lapierre-Booth
Hamhuis-Bieksa
OR
Booth-Sedin-Burrows
Hamhuis-Bieksa

Higgins-Kesler-Lapierre
Edler-Salo

Powerplay obviously needs a shake up and i think this would be their best options>

Guys, this information is taken from the Canucks depth chart, on the main Canucks website.

It's made by some social media dude, and is rarely accurate.

Put Gragnani on the PP. At least he can't be worst than the PP quarterbacks we are currently using.

Great AHL playoff performer.

he had 7 points in the playoffs, first round with the Sabres. Yep, great AHL performer. If he is an AHLer, then I guess Edler is an ECHLer because he sure is playing like it.
