Lou. Gotta start with your number one after this. Just like the third game, when Schneider starterd and it wasn't the goalies fault previously, you must play your Number One.

AV is done in this city unless he learns to lead.

If Lui is the guy the Canucks are sticking with in the long run, he should get the start IMO.

He imploded in the Chicago series, dont try and argue that and yes I will give him credit for game 7, Nashville had little to no offensive power that series and you forgot to mentiion Ryan Kesler's 12 points, 2 shutouts were great but they were negated when he once again imploded in 3 games

I thought hockey was a team game. Here we go again, laying the blame solely on one man. Where were the Sedin's in the final round? Kesler? etc. etc..

We are screwed. It doesn't matter anymore. Schneider played very well tonight and his trade value is probably at its max already. No need to show case him anymore.

I say we play Luongo. This team sucks right now and game 4 is pretty much guarantee lost. But let him finish it.

It has to be Lu, unless management plans on getting rid of him.

Well Gillis said he wouldn't ask a player to waive their NTC so I'm guessing he stays.

Shanahan went soft on Keith.

Keith is a pretty ugly dude after all....

Not that it matters. Neither Schnieder nor Luongo scores goals.

YES EXACTLY correct - this series has not at all been about our goalies at all. I don't think it has been about their goalie either. It's been about poor special teams, too many penalties, brain farts, and most importantly and part of a deeper problem - lack of scoring.

Lu will get the start and deserves to as he is our number one goalie.

Put Schneider in, let him get ventilated so his stock drops and then MG will be forced to keep him

Luongo will get the call. He's gotten it done for us in tight spots like this before, why not?

Lu let in 8 in the last two games. The first game we imploded in front of him and still he kept us in it. The second we were a lot better but still left him exposed for the last 2.

In the third Schneider did well behind a team that at last had decided to focus on the job in hand.

So, if Lu is to continue to be our No 1 next season we have to appreciate and let him know we don't blame him for the first two defeats any more than we blame Schneids for the last one.

It's Lu for me ..........plain and simple.

If Schneider starts and we lose game 4, say goodbye to Luongo in the offseason. And no, I'm serious. Changing goaltenders to swing the momentum even though it isn't the main issue sends a bad message to Lu.

Who do I think will be in net? Cory.

Who I prefer to be in net? Luongo.

I think Luongo is the right call. Schneider had the chance and was decent. He was not "spectacular" as some posters have said. His puck handling skills continue to amaze and terrify me.

The goal was very weak on his part. That was a lazy save on the first shot and a wicked rebound that Brown had no trouble with.

The funny thing is that could have been his last start in a Canucks jersey. If Luongo starts and loses on Wednesday it's over, if he wins he keeps playing. More than likely Schneider doesn't play again this season because if they somehow come back there is no way Luongo comes out of the net unless he gets hurt.

If we're going to get swept, Lu should be the guy to experience it. He can afford it more than Schneider.

Schneids AV has already made his bed with the decision to play him in front of Luongo. Full blown goalie controvery happening in front of our eyes. The word is on the wall for Luongo the Canucks have made their choice for next year.

Sneids, not that it matters. All this character they've built up last few years is crap.
Its nonexistent coaching that has no idea how motivate much less coach offence.

You Lou fans just don;t get it. In a do or die game you want to use the goalie with a 2.41 GAA instead of the goalie with a 1.96 GAA....? What part of that makes sense? Schneider gave up one goal...a rebound that he could not direct due to the angle. He gave us every opportunity to win and you still want to play Lou...Glad you aren;t the coach !!

Lu will probably be in the net for game 4. If not, then Schneids. I don't see any difference in putting either one. We are going to lose the series anyways.

Edler needs to be benched.

It's not a matter of favouritism, which you still can't grasp. Starting Luongo is the right choice to make. Why? Luongo has been one of the few Canucks who has stepped up his performance in this post season. In even strength, Luongo has posted a save percentage of .951%. It amazes me how conceited you really are. Both Luongo and Schneider have given this team an opportunity to win. Goaltending is not an issue and therefore starting Luongo is the right choice to make. The fact that you'd bench one of the Canucks star players this post-season shows as to what you know about the sport of hockey. Little to nothing at all.
