lorentjd
The Canucks are Back-to-Back President's Cup Champs...so who needs a stinkin' Stanley Cup anyway?
Cindilette
Wouldn't it be nice to be a three-time Pres trophy next year? (let's remake history) You know what they say, 3rd time is always a charm.
unbridled_id
Yea... this squad is running out of time fast.... Last year was this squads best shot, it's all down from here.

bananian
The silver lining is that there isn't going to be a riot this year. Yay!! Maybe that's what the Canucks are trying to do, they are being considerate.

afan
Winning the President's Trophy is meaningless and it tells nothing about how good the Canucks are. Vancouver wins twice only because it is playing in the weakest division of the league and has the benefit of playing the basement teams from Edmonton, Calgary, Colorado and Minnesota each 6 times per year. A sweep by LA tells the truth.

FlyingCanuck
Winning the President's trophy back to back with no cup shows our consistency in the playoffs. Yeah we made it to game 7 last year but how can we be the best in the regular season twice but not in the post season once? No silver lining here, folks. Master Mind
I still don't get why there is no recognition of that trophy. It's still an accomplishment to be proud of, and it's technically harder to win than the Stanley Cup.
jimsandlak83
Although we did technically win the President's Trophy we have a HUGE ADVANTAGE b/c of the division we play in (the other 4 teams in our division didn't make the playoffs). Whereas New York came close to winning with Philly ,Pitt and even New Jersey 's in the same division, St louis had Detroid/Chicago/Nashville. giXXer
I'd rather be a 8th seed that wins the cup.
Westcoasting
They still have time to get that trophy to a pawn shop while it is worth 20 bucks or so... in another week it will be worthless.
Perry Henis
I would be embarassed if they had a Presidents Trophy presentation in next years home opener.

taib mahmud
Does anyone believe that they can create history by being back to back Pres trophy winners, down 0-3 in the 1st round p/off but come back to win 4-3? Maybe ......... not! And what if they do pop in 3 goals in the 1st period and go on to win on wednesday?
