Not sure why there isn't more outrage on these boards. It may not have mattered as Quick played airtight, regardless here it is.

What's more outrageous is what sounds like that commentator's attempt at an Italian accent at the beginning of the video.

I don't see the pass, looks more like it hit him and came free a second later.

To me it looks like it just bounced off his arm, hard to tell though.

50 seconds is your best look at it. I saw a better reply but i cant find it.

not whining, just saying of all places i would have expected CDC to be outraged.

like i said it may not have mattered

I am more concerned with whether or not Brown is a Muppet. That could be a huge advantage if he is being all made out of stuffing and whatnot. No wonder he never gets hurt.

If you slow it right down it bounces straight off his glove. It's just an unlucky break.

Of course, in the interest of making this a believable series a lot of unlucky referee-related breaks will go against LA the rest of the way so I'm not going to get too hung up on this one.

fair enough, i figured it was worth pointing out.

if someone has the other angle...it definitely looks intentional.

at 52-53 seconds if you watch it like 10 times you can see the puck hit the top of his glove or for arm and he directs it out. his jersey is black so its pretty hard to see exactly where it hits. but you can clearly see him push the puck with his for arm/ glove to the other la forward

Not enough to call it off the goal IMO.

Meh, noref could see that, one guy said he had to watch it 10 times. I was more pissed off with what
should have been a delay of game penalty when Richards sat on the puck in the last minute of play.

This is the problem with the NHL IMO. A rule is a rule and if they are called consistently and are properly enforced then maybe the players will know what is a legal play or not.

I was trying to bring this up last night, but it was overlooked. It doesn't matter in the end because we just couldn't score, but this is a play that 4 on-ice officials missed which ultimately also leads to a 3-0 deficit that the Canucks will need to be really lucky to overcome.

Pretty much LOL. The new CBA better clear some issues up.

What's more frustrating with that play is why weren't the Canucks digging away at it furiously? If the officials aren't going to do their job, then it's up to the team to do something about it and it just happened to be one of the dirtier players on their team as well.

no handpass. the only inexcusable thing that caused this goal is Edler's drifting over to the wrong side of the ice leaving that little sh!t dustin brown wide open .......

it happened so fast, if you look at it during the slow motion part at 50seconds it does look like it, but hard call to make for the refs.

Wow good spot, that was fast!
but more frustrating is edler's position ... guess he think's Schneider is so good he doesn't need anyone infront of the net :bigblush:

If I saw the redirect yesterday, I probably would've drop kicked my laptop.

But what's done is done, the Canuck's will just have to amp up their play in all facets of the game in order to really make this a series.

They should just slash the son of a b***h for being silly enough to sit on it, might as well get your 2 minutes worth of dirty play while he's down.
